Along the river

Older motel along major road down by the waterfront close to town for restaurants and shopping. The staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming. A basic, older motel that was good for a one night stay. Nothing note worthy but good price for what you got. It was clean and comfortable.

The price was great. The service was ok. The room was excellent. The only real downside was the location; raw sewage smell several times throughout the stay. Not sure where it was coming from?

Older place, but renovated and nice rooms. Good location…able to walk places nearby. The road traffic was extremely loud, but at night it did not bother me at all!

It was a very nice day. I thought proximity to the road would mean a lot of traffic noise at night but the windows were double insulated and I slept like a baby.

We typically aren’t ones to book motels due to the cheaper rates that attract interesting unsure people but we decided to book this motel for the convenience of where we were headed the next day and because it offered a kitchenette at an affordable rate. As an initial reaction, the motel parking was cramped, and the overall exterior was a little bit of an eye sore. The check in office was also cramped and the downfall to check in is that it isn’t always staffed. Thankfully we checked in early enough after a long day of travel. The room we booked was in another building off to the side and overall it was okay. It wasn’t the best but also didn’t quite fit the vibe the online photos were depicting. The bathroom smelled kinda funky and if you paid enough attention there were little corners of the rooms that were a little outdated or falling apart. For a suite with a kitchenette it had the necessary items, however the rooms did not offer air condition. Not sure if that was shared in the original room details online. They did however make that up by providing large fans in every room. Overall our stay was okay for the convenience of our travel, as it was located close to the direction we were headed next day, However I’m not sure that I would book again if I were ever in the area again. Next time I would probably check out other lodging options first before picking this one again.

Show me the love!!!

The place was very clean, modern and updated and very comfortable. The things that need improving are the bathroom and the service at the end. The lady did not ask how we liked it nor did she invite us to stay again. It was 320$ for two nights for a motel room so I would have liked some pleasantries... Anyway I'd stay there again and would recommend it but come on lady...a smile and a thank you goes a long way..
