Stayed at the Acropolis Heights property for 2 nights with a family of 10. The location is perfect, close to the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and lots of shops and restaurants. The layout of the property is interesting…seems to have been two units previously that were combined into 1, one downstairs and one upstairs. The property is a bit dated. Bedrooms are generally comfortable, though the single beds’ mattresses were extremely firm, like sleeping on the floor according to my daughter. The others were comfortable. There was AC in kitchen/living room and all the bedrooms, which was key for us choosing this property as we stayed here in the middle of July…during a heatwave. The power went out our first night making it very uncomfortable (it was 104 degrees that day and the low at night was 86!). While we know the power outage was out of the control of the property manager/owner, we would have appreciated an offer for fans, candles/lights, etc. We received no offer. After coming on and going back off a few times, the power finally came back on at about 1:00 in the morning, thank goodness! We also would have appreciated if the rooftop terrace was set up like in the pictures. We found all of the chairs and umbrellas stored in a small closet and didn’t bother setting it all up. All in all a good property, and we enjoyed the location the most of all.
