As we entered the lobby, it didn't seem so unusual for any crown plaza. But the staff at the lobby and the room as we entered was horrible. Room was not even old,shabby,broken,unkept,small,dirty but not to be included into any star category.My unproven guess would be they are in the process of renovation since the bathroom was renovated.WE lost $700 euroes that night to check out the same evening in couple of hours to rent a new place , all the trouble, and the front office gentleman did not allow us to check out ,therefore we just had to leave.He said to come back the next day n talk to the front office manager for the check out. Unusual for any crown plaza or IHG hotel. Very rude staff. We even thought of cancelling the whole trip.WE even requested him for an upgrade of any higher level. We were trying our best to keep the spirit n solve the problem. But he was neither willing or cooperative.
