Our condo is our Athens getaway! It’s complete with all the comforts of home, and is newly furnished for your enjoyment. Cheer on UGA at the game, then return “home” to lounge on the large sofa, watch your favorite streaming TV shows on the big screen Sony, cook up something wonderful in the kitchen or go out to any number of great restaurants close by for dinner. Only 15 minutes from downtown Athens we are convenient to the bypass as well as the Atlanta highway, and just minutes from shopping and restaurant opportunities at Oconee Crossing; our condo is in the quiet neighborhood of the Wood Lake development in Athens. We are near walking trails, and have easy access to everything in the area, but with the bonus of peace and quiet when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of campus life.
Whether you are a UGA alum returning for campus activities, visiting your college student(s), or traveling on business, you will love staying in our UGA-themed townhouse-style condo. The lower floor features a comfortable living room and dining area as well as a full kitchen, a half-bath, a pantry and a laundry closet off the kitchen. The back door invites you to enjoy sitting on our small patio and enjoying the evening. Our kitchen includes a large fridge, a solid-surface range, a microwave oven and a Keurig duo coffee maker, which will allow you to make a single cup or a pot of coffee, depending on your mood or your crowd! New pots and pans are organized on a peg board in the pantry, which also contains a Ninja blender system, coffee pod options, and spacious shelves for whatever you need.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms with spacious closets. The primary bedroom features a king bed and an en-suite full bath with a tub/shower, and the second bedroom has a queen bed and is adjacent to a second full bathroom in the hall, also with a tub/shower. Both bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers, and we supply all the sheets and towels unless you request to bring your own. We use a digital thermostat to control the HVAC system, and have both air conditioning and heat that you are free to set to whatever is comfortable for you during your stay.
One reserved parking space is very close to the front door. Additional parking is available in any space that is not numbered along the center parking island.
