Our hotel rooms were comfortable and staff was friendly. The morning we left we read on hotel message board that the airlines were not running which caused some anxiety. Our flight was not cancelled thankfully!

Perfect overnight stop for Piraeus transport links

Booked the day of arrival during a ten hour :( ferry trip to Athens. It’s diagonally opposite the ferry port and we were in our room ten mins after stepping off the blue star! Lovely stylish spacious room and we opted in for brekky on the booking at £9.50 approx a head. Lovely buffet breakfast and some made to order egg and tuna bowl items. Lovely staff and great roof top bar though it was the first time in 20 days in Greece we were cold at midnight. We had a night there to avoid the Athens hotel cost/ hassle with bags as were flying the next day. However, we went into Athens for the evening - great metro service 2 mins walk away direct to the centre - 1.20 euro on a Saturday night. Great! Definitely lovely stay and would visit again. Just book and stop faffing looking!

Stayed one night after we disembarked from a cruise. The hotel is located close to the port. Room was very comfortable, and all staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar has wonderful views!

Restaurant - was very disappointed in the food - high priced minimal amount. should let people know the ravioli and the lemon pie were deconstructed. Not happy especially as this was my last meal in Athens. Upstairs bar was nice - view of the port. Very clean and comfortable staff very helpful.

The Mitsis hotel was very nice, great staff, nice room and good food at the restaurant on-site. Our room was very nice and clean except the floor was pretty dirty. The bathroom was very nice and roomy. The staff was nice and very helpful. They took care of our luggage until our room was ready, which was greatly appreciated. The area around the hotel isn’t the best, but there are restaurants and shopping close by. All in all it's a very nice hotel and very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Athens.

Very well equipped rooms, excellent and friendly service, extremely convenient location in port for ferry terminals, and very walkable distance to the Athens Metro for easy access to the center of Athens. The restaurant is on the fine dining/expensive end, but good for a nice dinner. And if you're in the mood for an authentic Greek Taberna experience, one of the best ones in Greece is right across the street. The simple fact that it's frequented by Greek locals should tell you all you need to know. Another major convinience is a 24 hour bakery a short walk away that has the most amazing sweet and savory baked goods you will ever have. The only minor inconvenience, is that as you walk the main street outside the hotel it is often congested with people wheeling suitcases going to and from their ferries. This makes sense given the location however, and as I said it's very minor. I liked this place so much, that I would consider staying here again even if I was only trying to do things in Central Athens. Prices are way cheaper than the city center, and the metro is convenient and cheap as well (so long as there's not a transport strike).

Everyone at this hotel was so helpful. We were able to check in early, and the held our luggage after we checked out. They were very helpful with securing a taxi when we needed to leave for the port. The food in the restaurant was delicious.
