First time to Athens and could not beat the location and value for money. We booked an economy room and requested high floor which we got. Room on 6th floor corner with 2 window aspect giving great views over the rooftops and beyond. Great area with lots of restaurants nearby. Approx 7 mins walk to the nearest metro stop (Monastiraki Square) which is on the airport line. 15 mins walk to the Acropolis. Hotel itself has an excellent rooftop bar/restaurant open in the evening with fabulous view of the acropolis, or just for a chill during the day with lots of seating and very quiet. Would stay here again.

Plaka, Akropolis, Agora und Syntagma-Platz sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist etwas klein, wir hatten aber zu zweit mit zwei großen Koffern keine Probleme, für drei Tage war die Größe ausreichend. Es gab einen Kühlschrank, TV mit einigen deutschen Sendern. Das Bad war zweckmäßig, sauber und mit relativ großer begehbarer Dusche. Das Frühstück war besser als das übliche griechische Frühstück in einem 3-Sterne-Hotel. Leider kann es beim Anstehen auch mal etwas länger dauern. Die Dachterrasse hat eine super Aussicht auf die Akropolis und über viele Dächer Athens. Die touristische Lage bringt leider auch Lärm mit sich. Bis ca. Mitternacht ist auch im 6. Stock Musik hörbar, ziemlich früh sind auch schon die ein- und ausladenden Lieferwägen hörbar. Hier wären schalldichtere Fenster wünschenswert. Insgesamt würde ich sofort wieder hier bleiben, wer jedoch leichten Schlaf hat, sollte evtl. ein ruhigeres Viertel suchen - falls es so etwas in Athen gibt...
