Avoid. Communication was terrible. Owner had multiple opportunities to ask us on the Hotels.com platform to complete the online form which he failed to do which meant we were left waiting outside the property with nobody to speak to. The local business helped us out and also tried to contact the owner telling us that this is not the first time it's happened and that other people have experienced poor communication. We had to find accommodation for two nights due to this whilst still being charged by the property owner.

Great location in heart of it all

We had a good experience at the UpStreet Luxury Apartments in Plaka. The location was Devine - centrally located to everything. Huge downside that I didn’t think through when I was planning is that there isn’t a front desk/concierge, so there wasn’t anyone available to help with tours, suggestions or to answer questions. Not a big deal if you know your way around. Accommodations were clean and as describe, however, the building/room had a bad smell - perhaps the folks who rented it before us had brought in food and left it in the room for too long or maybe the neighboring apartment was cooking with pungent spices, either way the smell hit you when you walked in and was obvious for our entire three day stay.

This property will not provide you with any informations until the day of your check-in ! on the day of our check-in which was for 5 nights We were told by email that we needed to pay additional taxes that was not even mentioned or specified on Expedia’s website ! they would not allow access to the apartment unless the fees were paid in advanced regardless of what was written on the Expedia’s website Also Expedia was puzzled about additional taxes when we contacted them about this issue Furthermore this property does not provide any kind of services that is customarily provided by the many hosts. once you checked-in regardless of number of days you stay with them, you will not receive any services. Be prepared for No cleaning No soap or shampoo No toilet papers Not enough towels Not enough blankets Also Poor communication You are on your own once you check-in Hope the owners read this review By the way we had booked this place for 5 nights

We stayed here for over a week and enjoyed the central location in Plaka. Walkable and plenty of dining options in an around the apartment. The check in and check out process was super easy and no hassle.

Everything is fine with the area. Plaka is excellent area to be there. But there was an issue with door lock of the property. We were stuck for multiple times. I called the property management number what was provided and after multiple attempts one person answer she listened to me and than she says will call you in next 10 mins which she never did and when I contacted the property management it went to voice mail with no answer. Communication is very poor. They do not deserve even 1 Star. Imagine the tourist had to go through where they cannot enter the house. Finally we were able to get in but than after that we never locked the door. We complained property management they never helped. All they did is code change but the issue is with the door lock not the code.

Property is very clean, nicely decorated, spacious and close to all activities. We walked everywhere for sightseeing, dinner and grocery needs. Communication with landlord was not easy but we sort it out some how. The only problem we had was the humidity smell in bathroom and rattling noice on fan coil system. It was not a huge deal but it has to be fixed by the landlord.

Worst experience with this place. Construction happening at time of stay (Week of 6/27). Electricity was out for the last 3 days. No bathroom light and half the outlets were not working and some lighting. No TV. Another family in our group had apt next door. They had a sewage smell come through their bathroom. Their AC was broken for the first night and they had to relocate to a different place on their own dime and eventually left two days early due to Upstreet telling them “it’s not our fault”. Never book this place. No maid service.

very disappointing

It was not easy to find the place and when we called for directions they could help us. We were left without power for hours with no one to contact, seems to be only 1 person in charge and when you require orientation or help takes forever or simply never answer. I won't suggest staying here
