Lovely room but NOT mobility accessible as advertised. Bed too high by 6" to allow for safe transfers from walker or wheelchair. BATHROOM TINY...can fit neither wheelchair nor walker into tiny space; cannot fit either under sink; cannot transfer from chair/walker to toilet. Nightmare! Door blocks access to tub. Stayed 1 night instead of orIginal reservation for 20 days. Scary experience trying to get to toilet or in/out of bed (my feet dangled sitting on bed, Did not touch floor.) if one has no or limited use of legsbed& toilet are nearly impossible to navigate independently. Mobility/ADA acccessibility is MORE than a GRAB BAR in a tub. Disappointing experience in a nice hotel. 2nd unfortunate experience in a Hilton brand. I wish I would not have wasted my time and money staying here. 1) The property was run down and dirty. The facilities were in need of repainting and refinishing. It felt a bit dirty no matter where you were on the property. 2) The parking lot is oddly shaped. The back gates close/lock in the evening and you are forced to drive the wrong way down a one way (towards the front) to get out of the property parking lot. It always caused problems trying to get out when people were trying to enter. 3) One of the mornings we abruptly found out that the water was shut off -- and without any warning. The property didn't communicate this was going to happen and we had to go to a local gym to shower and make it to a meeting on time. The hotels.com phone representative who investigated my claim also noted she didn't see any advanced written warning from the property to guests. 4) The late night front desk clerk was unpleasant. He could not be bothered for anything. 5) As we checked out and began walking to our car to leave, we watched a patron (whom we saw earlier) walk out the side door and put a comforter in his trunk and leave. Do yourself a favor and check out another hotel in a different area. This was really disappointing for a Hilton property.
