Me and my 2 girlfriends (all in our 40’s) picked this location because of its proximity to the music venue The Eastern, as well as the cafes and pubs within walking distance.Check in time came and I still hadn’t received an email with the code to access the property so I reached out to the host only for them to tell me that they double booked. They did offer a different room that was shared with two single beds but we flew into town and had no car. Also, did not feel comfortable about sharing a space. After much back and forth the host did refund us 2 nights. We ended up staying in a hotel close to the airport that night. The next day once we checked in we immediately noticed the smell of weed but we just thought it was the previous tenants. Nope it was the folks staying next door. They proceeded to hold themselves up in the other side of the property for the three days and do nothing but smoke weed so naturally our hold side of the house wreaked. So if you can deal with that sort of thing by all means this is a great place to stay. The towels and sheets were clean. The property seemed clean but could use some updating.Location perfect. Lots of little restaurants, cafes, spots to grab a cocktail and snack.

The property was misrepresented. The pictures were nothing like the actual property. The house is very old and I totally understand that BUT the walls were filthy, the pits and pans had grease all over them, there are holes in parts of the floor. There is a big crack/damage when walking up the stairs. Molding in master bedroom is filthy. At least paint the bathroom and the door. Dirt all over wall in kitchen where the locked door is located. Outside is not safe for ANY dog. There were pieces of wood with nails sticking up. Holes in the fence where dogs could get out. We had to rig the backyard so are dogs couldn’t get out. Underneath the porch needs to be cleaned and blocked off from dogs. If one of my dogs had punctured their paws we would have had a vet bill that we would not have paid for. You would have been held accountable. If you are going to have this property be a rental then clean it up, fix things so it is safe for dogs and humans. The back door frame at the bottom is falling off. Scotch tape wrapped around the door knob. Someone shows up while we are there to try and clean up the back yard. That should have been done BEFORE any renters showed up. You left all the wood with nails there for my dogs to get injured. We left the residence Saturday am because we could not stay there another night. The misrepresentation of this property warrants a refund especially since we left a day early. My dogs are too important to me and I won’t jeopardize them. I want comensation.
