Electric Went Out / No TV for entire Stay

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a beautiful and clean property with great aesthetics. However, I did experience some issues that made my stay less enjoyable. I checked in at around 5pm. The electricity went out at 7:40 PM and wasn’t restored until 8:40 PM. Unfortunately, the TV never worked for the duration of my stay. When I inquired about compensation for the inconvenience, I was told there would be none, which was disappointing. Additionally, I wish the valet service had been available, as walking alone to the parking garage in the freezing cold was both uncomfortable and a little unsettling. Despite these setbacks, I would love to stay here again—provided the electricity stays on and the amenities function as expected! I do plan to file an insurance claim for the inconvenience.

The Element in Buckhead offers an incredible stay. The hotel feels brand new. The rooms are beautifully appointed, but nothing ostentatious. The staff is friendly and responsive—especially RJ, who made us feel welcome and valuable patrons. Oh! And the elevators appear to be new—even they made a great impression!

I like that many rooms have kitchenettes. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially RJ! We also enjoyed the Secret Garden, free drinks at happy hour, and free cookies and chocolate covered strawberries on Valentines Day.

Overall Great!

Great area to stay! Lots of places to go for food, coffee, and shopping very nearby- Hotel was very clean, updated, and QUIET! The only complaint I have was that I called day prior to arrival and asked about early check in option, I was told “no problem just call the morning of check in and if there’s a room that was unused- they can assign it to you with an early check in fee” - I called the morning of check in at 0700 and was given a room number and early check in was confirmed- I told them I would arrive at 1pm- again he said-“no problem” this will be your room “227” but when we arrived- the folks at the desk had no record of this early arrival room assignment and I was told NO room was ready- my daughter had to be downtown for cheer at 4pm and needed to get ready - had to do so in the hotel lobby and had to leave by 3pm without a ready room and our luggage being stored for us in office. Frustrating cause we could have made other plans had we known early wasn’t an option! Also hotel restaurant and bar closed on Sunday. However- RJ who was helping with bags and security was AMAZING! He was friendly, helpful, so warm and kind. Made my daughter and I traveling alone feel very welcome and safe!

Jordan at the front desk was very helpful with information before and after I arrived in Atlanta . The made to order complimentary breakfast entrees, prepared by a super kind woman, were impressive and nicely complimented the wide variety of other items also available for breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel seemed to be quiet despite being in a busy area, with the parking lot accessible for hotel guests just a short walking distance from the hotel entrance. The staff we encountered were all professional and kind. Even though we were in town to attend a funeral, and my car broke down enroute, staying at the Element in Buckhead was a pleasant bonus.

Convient location. Easy to get downtown. Parking is a little ridiculous. The parkimg deck is $12/daily and the hotel charges $25/day (for in and out privileges). The rooms were clean enough and the beds are comfy. The shower water pressure was 10/10. I only had a problem with thr front desk when leaving about having prepaid for my parking and the two gentlemen kept doubting that I paid already, rather than just looking up my room number like I asked several times to see i had literally already paid.

Great facility, not so great parking.

I enjoyed my stay. I was pleasantly surprised and the accommodations and level of thoughtfulness of the staff and cleanliness of the hotel. I was disappointed at the parking situation as it was far and no valet. It was also super cold.

Everything was outstanding EXCEPT the work ethic of the lady at the breakfast bar egg station. Leaning on counter on her phone with no interest in the guests! Definitely should not be the face of breakfast!!
