I selected this property at hampton Inn and suites ,Galleria area because of the convenience of the Truist stadium, battery park and the cumberland mall.
but ,, when we arrived at the hotel, they did not have our reservations. Expedia "dropped the ball" on their part.. they did not complete our reservation with the selected hotel..
so we spent an hour with an expedia agent trying to locate another hotel. My husband found another hampton inn about a mile away.... a older and outdate hotel.. which we had no choice but to reserved as no other availability at other properties.
so by the time we arrived at the second location, it was late and we missed the baseball game at truist stadium. so we lost our money ,,nearly 450.00 dollars worth.
also we had to pay for uber / lyft cab services which was not part of our expanses.. approximately a hundred dollars..
so we are very disappointed that expedia 'messed up' . we were totally exhausted and very upset. that weekend was our 54 th anniversay!!
so travelers.. beware before you leave home,, find the phone number of the hotel and confirmed your reservations.
