Were the carpets really cleaned?

I called the morning of my reservation to see if we could do early check-in. I was told by the staff who answered the phone that they were cleaning the carpets so that would be unlikely. We arrived 30 minutes before check in time and were accommodated. My baby dropped her pacifier in the bedroom and while looking for it, I discovered a dried up used condom on the floor. I alerted the front desk and he apologized profusely and stated that he would let housekeeping know. The first two nights of our three night stay, there was an overpowering marijuana smell wafting under our door and through the hallways. Housekeeping only came to our room once during our three nights. We ended up putting our trash out in the hallway for it to be picked up. The bed was comfortable. The pullout couch bed was okay. A pack n play was provided for my baby to sleep in. And the staff were very friendly.

Room needs updating, Holes in curtains and bathroom door, executive lounge needs to have more selection or replenish what’s available.Some staff members need to be more hospitable. They were cordial but not welcoming. We had several issues with our room but they did their best to fix it. However there are better up to date options in the area. I will not choose this particular property again.

I swear there was blood on the carpet, the tub was dirty, the rack holding the towels was broken, room doors barely closed, ants in the room, hard mattress, I’ll never stay here again
