It’s giving…. Needs a remodel.

I will start by saying that the staff was very nice and worked hard to get us a room for early check in, but personally I would not stay at this hotel again. The rooms are extremely small and the bathrooms were even worse! I could barely turn around in it! Another major complaint was they don’t have a full length mirror anywhere in the room, I was very annoyed by this. We were attending the Beyonce concert and we couldn’t even look at our outfits until we got to the stadium. The breakfast was good and had a lot of options, the location is pretty good too, in the heart of downtown. Just about a 15-20 min walk to the Mercedes Benz stadium. Again, if you are not worried about space then it’s a sufficient basic hotel and should work for you. But I like to have my space so it was awful. Also, the air in the lobby was broken then entire time and it was so hot everytime we walked in.

Pros: The room was more spacious than I expected in Atlanta, which was nice. Hotel breakfast had a lot of options. Mehs: Some things were really showing wear, like the TV, which displayed pale colors, the elevator, and ripped rugs. Cons: What really bothered me though was how hot it was. I know, I know — it’s Georgia in summertime, but hear me out. I have stayed at Holiday Inn Experesses all around the country, including Cali in the summertime, and have never had a room take so long to cool down. It wouldn’t have been too bad if they had a fan, but the front desk said the only fans they had were for the office. It was a hard night’s sleep cause of that. Also no parking. When the hotel said they had parking before I booked, what they meant was they would gladly take $40 and valet park it for me in a garage overnight. I saved some money and parked elsewhere.

The hotel was overall good. The parking we had to get valet due to lack of parking. Rooms were very small but very clean. Breakfast was good and the breakfast dining area is spacious and they have a variety of things to eat.
