Great stay with one notable exception! Check-in!

Everything went great, except check-in. I really needed rooms that were together. So I needed to request that in person. It took well over 30 minutes just to check in and there was only one person ahead of me. The line was at least 6-10 people long before I was helped. Only one guy was checking folks in initially and then when another person showed up they began helping the diamond customer line with only two guests there and about 6-10 people waiting in the regular check-in line. Mind you the guy was already servicing their line. It was chaotic and impractical the was they did it and I think that could be better. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS NICE!

It is what it is

Will checking in because we checked in late there's only one person checking guest in. So that took a longer than expected wait time. And then not knowing I should have a rewards card didn't even offer that or ask if I had one too and my stay rewards to the I membership which is this weird. And throughout my stay ate at multiple restaurants and only two asked me if I stayed in the hotel and if I had a rewards. Bathrooms were not the cleanliness. When I asked if someone can go and clean the restroom staff rolled her eyes at me which was weird but that's the way the world is now. And then because the Wawa West side was being revamped the people that were working there really didn't want to like the bartender was mad that we asked for a drink and told us to go to the toga bar. Which was all the way on the cross on the other side

Positives: Location on board walk is great and convenient. Updated rooms are nice and clean in the Centurion tower. Staff is very nice...but seems like they have limited staff. Negatives: The common areas of the hotel stink like old smoke. -Limited restaurants onsite if staying in the earlier portion of the week...Most of the restaurants don't open until Thursday evening. - You have to verbally request to have your room cleaned or no one will show up...we were told by staff that the green alert button for room cleaning on your door will be ignored and you have to call. We called and were on hold for 20 mins to find this information out, Make sure you download the app to check in and use the kiosk on site or you will wait a long time in line to check in.
