Very disappointing visit. Perhaps it's off season strategy or staff issues but for $100+/night this was lacking: bathroom floor had blackened grout that when it got wet (from shower) it smeared dirt? Bath and facial tissues were sub-par and weakened the previous high-end perception I had from prior visits. The view was stellar as always from a Bay Balcony room and lighting options are better than most hotels and the 'reading chair' is quite comfortable. With so many pluses why cheapen it all with sub-par housekeeping and paper goods?

It was my first time staying here. This hotel Is a family business, and it was a refreshing change from the chain hotels I have stayed at in the past in nearby cities The hotel has been around a long time, but it is very well maintained. Had a beautiful view of the bay from our room. I love how they post quiet time hours from 10:00 pm to 7 am. No slamming doors or loud talking in the hallway at odd hours. I also like the fact that they don't allow "emotional support" animals, while allowing true service dogs. . I wish more hotels would do this one when they say no pets they really mean it. The breakfast was great. Fresh coffee, donuts and danish, along with Belgian waffles. Cereal and instant oatmeal available too. I would definitely stay here again.
