It started out rough. We got one of the older rooms. I did not like the carpet it looked dirty and I also did not like the adjoining room door as I was traveling with small children and the door didn't lead to others in my group. That was all turned around when I went back to the front desk, leslie took care of us. She made sure we got the room we needed. It was adjoining but to my family members, she made sure all of our other family members got rooms on the same floor as well. It is a family friendly hotel. We saw a lot of pets (dogs) so furry family is allowed. All of the prices were reasonable for the arcade, skating, mini golf, go karts & waterpark. After 4pm the waterpark is discounted. & on thursday the arcade had an unlimited 90mins of play card for $24.99 you don't get tickets for the games you play but it really helps if your kids live the arcade. There is also a two lane bowling alley in the arcade and the game card works for it. Two restaurants and a mini "deli" inside of the hotel. Over all we had a great time.

Well I don’t review much but omg . No matters cover just a regular flat sheet first I’ve seen this . And to top it off a roach crawled out the cabinets area after the first night . We went for the water park but even that only had one ride for my baby . Very much won’t be going back to AC after this .

Where do I start! I traveled with my wife and 2 young kids, we chose showboat because its “family friendly” and it seemed as if it catered to kids. I checked in on Sept. 5th at 1145 pm and I checked out the same day at 11:55pm. That place shouldn’t not be open to the public the hotel lobby looks out dated and rundown. The air quality in the lobby smells like wet dog and marijuana. We got a room on 15th floor the elevator was rundown and looked unsafe. The hallway leading to our room had dirty carpet with stains and the smell was awful. The worst part was the room; our room door look like someone was trying to break it down with there feet. We entered the room and flipped the light switch and we were still in darkness. The lights don't work we had to use the bedside lamps. The floor had large stains, the walls had red stains coming down and the sofa looks like a homeless man was sleeping on it. The beds felt like they piled some cardboard together and stuff them into a form of mattress that place was horrible I would not recommend! Stay away from here! Especially with young kids.

This was a good choice if you’re traveling with children. The water park passes are discounted if you have a room. Water park was amazing but did get a little crowded. Great mixed drinks, basic food but a good amount of choices. Go carts were a lot of fun. I think they could do a better job with up keep. Hotel was a little dirty. Some of the areas seemed abandoned or under construction. 2ndfl. Room was basic. No coffee machine, a little run down. We did have a great time. Highlights being the water park, mini golf, roller rink and go carts.

This hotel was not what I expected it to be. The activities such as the arcade/waterpark should of been included within the reservation or atleast priced cheaper for the guests staying within the hotel. My room was okay I had a good view to the beach, the only down side was that I aint have no microwave or hair blow dryer. I would say this was a one time experience because I wouldnt stay here again.
