Staff were nice, however room was dusty and suffocating. I was inhaling dust and this weird odor I had to use air freshener to kill the smell. My skin itched the whole night sleeping on those sheets. The carpet was old and look dirty. The water park was nice and the kids enjoyed it. But I will not stay there again. The hotel needs a makeover, it has potential.

The hotel itself is run down & in need of remodeling. The waterpark, arcade, mini golf & roller skating is a MUST DO for all ages ie those things are new to the hotel. They don't have a casino because of it.

The room was very nice, very clean and a lot nicer than the room we stayed at the night before (which we upgraded btw) lots to do with the kids, we went to the Waterpark for the first time, it was super crowded but overall pretty nice. I wish they didn’t get rid of all the restaurants because dining is an issue, but showboat is close enough to hard rock and ocean so we just walked there to eat. I’d stay there again

They seriously need to remodel the hotel..we booked a 3-day stay but left after 2 days. The room didn't have working outlets to charge phone..when i told the front desk, she said oh yeah it's lose....seriously??? What kind of response is that...It's not supposed to be lose. The charger falls out of the wall and you can't charge the phone...its not supposed to be like that... one of the bed was higher on one side than the other. The bathroom and shower was great... not enough security to watch all those kids running around the hotel and arcade. Anyone can just up the elevators and wander the halls. Will not stay at showboat again.

Terrible stay, Room was filthy with mold on the ceiling, cracks/broken side panels, dirty/stained counters and scratches/scrapes on walls made it look and feel like an abandoned, dirty, unsafe room and environment. Staff did nothing to help even after complaints and showing pictures. Hidden fees for daily “resort” stays but would need to pay an extra fee to access pool. Parking fees were not disclosed in the details when booking. Property is ran down, dirty and no good places to eat internally.

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at.

I was in the New Orleans tower and first thing I noticed was if like the hotel was shut down for a few years and they just reopened it without renovating it the carpet was duct taped and many areas I had to travel to the 7th floor to finally find a damn ice machine that was not broken mind you the whole 7th floor was abandoned and you noticed some substance on the walls like mold. Most of the restaurants and bars in the lobby were closed down while online said something else. Don’t even get me started on the water park I went online to do some research to see if the park was toddler friendly and then I called to confirm and they said said yes once we arrived and paid come to find out there was absolutely nothing for her to do besides go into the small pool which was over crowded with ass holes running around and playing rough (staff did nothing). I would suggest if you want to go to the water park just stay elsewhere and I mean anywhere else please do yourself a favor.

We had to shower in cold water the 1st night and the next morning. They don’t clean the rooms thoroughly. Our room smelled like a dirty dog. The carpets are dirty everywhere. The front desk never answers the phone. The on site restaurant was super expensive and the food was not good. There was a lot to do there for children but I will never stay there again.
