My flight had gotten canceled and i needed a last minute place to stay, thankfully they had a room available for a very cheap price, i was traveling alone but all they had was a king sized so i booked it, the "king" was just 2 twin beds pushed together. The bathroom seemed fine but the toilet paper holder was broken and fell right off the wall. My door was also semi broken and required extra effort to close and lock. Overall it was a good experinece but if youre looking for good quality for a cheap price, this may not be the place for you.

Location was great and the room was clean & tidy. The Queen room I was given was a tiny, very tight, and claustrophobic space which looked nothing like the adverts on Expedia. After showing to reception I was offered a slightly larger room, which at least had a chair and desk, enabling me to work. The avert also shows a small gym which I was advised doesn't exist. The bed was super soft and uncomfortable. The elevators are in need of maintenance.

If I could give Ascotia off Queen a 0.1 star rating, I would. Very disappointing. Even if you pay $140 per night for a hotel room you don't expect the shower to be mouldy (shower-head was awful), the fridge to be iced up and leaking with the chipboard shelf barely holding it up, not one light bulb working in the whole room except for the lamp, the room quite dirty and under the bed horrendous, two single beds pushed together posing as a "Queen bed" which had a very noticeable annoying ridge in the middle, and only a sheet separating you from the people who stayed before you...no mattress protectors which should be changed with sheets. A tech item of some value I accidently left behind, realized, and went back for 2hr after checking out was no longer in the room, nor anywhere to be found, and no lost property either, so add dishonest staff to the list! Do not stay here.

Arriving the lobby was reeking of curry smell. The allegedly friendly man at the desk gave me the word room in the house, I found out after I left the very unkempt, dirty elevator. In the room no closet no hangers couldn’t keep open the bathroom door. The bathroom was clean the towels were clean and the sheets were clean but o spent a long time with my stack of wet wipes to clean all else. The room was very cold, I still have a cold from it, and couldn’t control the aircon. Over all it was not a pleasant stay. Oh yes and I was also told that I opted on Expedia for a lowest grade room ….i don’t think I was offered a choice.

Room was not great. There is always room for improvement and to take note of - shower and water pressure was not great. Even after using the toilet it took a bit of time for water to refill in order to flush. Also the bed - inner duvet had blood stains on it so I had to remove that in order to sleep. The kettle is definitely a safety hazard did not stop boiling.

Room was small but clean. A little dated but perfectly fine. Room had a great view out across park and to the Sky Tower - beautiful at night. Convenient location with walking distance to everything I needed. Would stay again.

The room definitely did not look like the photos. The bathroom was still dirty from previous guests, noticeable watermarks, dirty grout and toothpaste stains. No where to hang up or put away clothes.

The room looks good only in the pictures. In reality it smells of mold and water seepage. The walls have water leakage bubbles and the paint is coming off. the mattress are years old and you cannot sleep comfortably . I have a serious back ache and showing a doctor / Physio for the health issues.

I suggest the manager stay a night in room 211 so they can experience the inconvenience when staying in the room and hopefully make the necessary improvements. Shower hose leaks Curtain too high so water splashes over all the floor Several attempts to fully flush the toilet. Kettle had to be placed on floor to have access to power Long black hairs on bathroom floor No shelves for toilet bag in bathroom Fridge noisy and froze milk and also the bottle of water causing the bottle to crack and break. No racks to place luggage although the room has ample space for a rack. No teaspoons for tea or coffee No exhaust fan in the bathroom Hand basin plug doesn't work At the hotel entrance the mat is folded at one edge and is a significant trip hazard. This poor quality mat gives a very early indication guests are not seriously considered. From a guest perspective NO attention is given to the needs and comfort of your guests.

The TV wouldn't go. The milk was frozen for our coffee this morning. We told front desk they might need to check fridge. But however we were offered a cooked breakfast in the VR motel which was very delicious 😋.

2 men at front desk were unattentive and uninterested. Aircon wasnt cold, no cutlery not even spoon to make coffee. Fridge froze all our food. Needs to be made aware that when booking you need to reserve car space as when we got there all spaces were full.

The room was a bit dirty and there was a bug infestation. I tried to kill them but more came back! They really should do something about this issue. I had to move rooms and the second one wasn’t much better. The hotel was falling apart too. I wouldn’t stay here again. The lady at the front desk tried her best, but clearly the place needs refurbishing.
