Not sure what you are referrring to here in relation to where we stayedGenerally national parks are a no go for us as we have a dog.Host was fabulous!Residence was fantastic.River walk was refreshing each morning.Shops are just fine for a little place like this and beaches/waterfront pathways are fantastic.
It was very quiet. Very close to Augusta shops by car. Easy access to Bush walks at the bottom of the street around the lake. Having fans in every room was great too as well as access to wi-fi was a bonus.
Brian is a fantastic host with plenty of local knowledge. The property is located close to the town and the river, which was particularly important to me. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and from the first day,I felt at home. Well worth it for an active single person or a couple who wants to explore the area.
I stayed with my partner at Brian's for a three night stay in October.
The property was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and in a very convenient location, just a few minutes drive from the main street.
We enjoyed the artwork on the walls and the welcome bottle of wine and chocolates.
Brian was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive during our stay.
Augusta is a lovely and very peaceful town to visit
