Zilker is (in our humble opinion) the trendiest, most unique neighborhood in Austin! This is a quiet, quirky, family-friendly neighborhood located near everywhere you'd want to be--zilker park (ACL, Festivals, Trail of Lights) barton springs, trendy coffee shops, restaurants, ZACH theater, shops, downtown, events, and festivals.

Located so close to everything, you can walk everywhere when the weather is nice. However, when the weather is hot, a quick Uber or Lyft will get you where you want. Scooters are another option, but discouraged due to safety concerns and lack of helmets. Most guests will have their own cars for the convenience.

Cute older home in great location

I rented this house as we were attending a wedding. The house is as described. It is located in a quiet neighborhood & there is so much near by. One of the bedrooms does have an attached bathroom with a shower, this room is the one with the queen sized bed. It is located at the back of the house. The other bedroom located at the front of the house has a king size bed. The second bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and is a tub/shower combo. Upon arrival the house was clean & while in another review I read that there were bugs/insects in the home we did not experience that. The back yard is a decent size & is fenced. There is a covered patio area with a small grill & seating. It was nice to be able to sit out there at night & early in the morning watching the squirrels and birds. The host provides hand soap in both bathrooms, towels, & shampoo and conditioner. Both bedrooms had fitted sheets & duvet so there is no flat sheet on the bed. The kitchen had all cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking sheet, plates, bowls, glasswear, & coffee mugs. The house also has a kureg & some coffee pods. If you like flavored coffee stop off at a store and pick up some pods. The host was very good about responding when sending messages. A few things to note, these were not things that bother us but may be an issue for others. When the A/C comes on it is a bit noisy in the living room. The bedroom with the king size bed is located at the front of the house so there is some road

Charming, great location, love a private backyard

We came in to Austin to visit our daughter. We had a dinner at the house for her and her friends. Was the perfect place for it. This home was super clean, the host responsive and it felt like home. We were able to easily get everywhere we needed to go. We tried re-booking for our next trip, but it was already booked! We'll definitely try again!

As advertised but better!

It was truly in the perfect location, walkable distance to restaurants and shops. Barton creek and Zilker park just a short drive away. The backyard was perfect for sitting outside in the evening and enjoying the Austin nights. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay

It was perfect, close to my local family, perfect for a relaxing evening. Couple of things to know, this are a bit small, not 100% sure the one room is a queen, felt more like a full size bed. I will happily stay there again. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Cute little Barton Springs house

Great location, had everything we needed. I noticed a review about no top sheet on the bed- it’s European duvet cover style- no top sheet needed! Appreciated the host’s communication and allowing an early check in- THANK YOU! Only improvements needed is that the smoke detectors were not functional; one was taken down and one had no batteries.

Great lication but minimal supplies

The only complaint was there was no bath soap in either bathroom, limited towels and no top sheet on either bed But I had 2 dogs and the backyard was perfect for them. The location was the best part of the listing. Overall, I would recommend this home.
