My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. It's located near all you could need for a city stay. During the day we would go exploring and many of the places we wanted to visit were within 5 to 15 minutes. At night, the shows we wanted to see were no more than a 12 Uber ride. The amenities were plentiful and clean.
The 3 of us adult ladies really enjoyed this apartment. We came to Austin for an event at the Moody Center. It's in a eclectic neighborhood with fun shoppes, museums, and a busy coffee shop below. There's a convenience store, food trucks, and restaurants within a couple blocks. Was easy for Pedicabs and Ubers. If you have anyone with physical limitations, check with the host to see if the elevator is working. It was not during our weekend. 1 of our ladies is 70 with a sore knee so stairs to the 3rd floor was a consideration. But she made it. Our stay was a Fri-Mon, host said they would contact the HOA of the place about the broken elevator but perhaps nothing could be done about it on a weekend. Also, the tub/shower has a tall side. A person with physical limitations might struggle to get in and out of that. Beds were comfy, bathroom stocked with toiletries. Kitchen well stocked with tons of cooking implements and seasonings. Fridge has an ice maker. There's washer/dryer. The patios were amazing, at least 1 is shaded at different parts of the day. The 1 on the parking lot side is neighbored by tall mature trees with birds to watch. We felt safe at all times here and around the neighborhood.
We needed an easy place to stay for our mini getaway. Great location with a cafe downstairs, walking distance to Paperboy (one of our fav breakfast places) and there was plenty of street parking. I love not being in the hustle and bustle of downtown, but easy access to it. Golden hour on the balcony was awesome too. Would rent again.
This property was ideal for 2-4 guests. 3 balconies, upscale furnishings, basically everything you need. There were a couple of things that need to be added but overall I was very pleased
This property is in the perfect location. The coffee shop next door was so wonderful to be able to walk to. The host was so great and made sure we were all doing good and checked on us throughout our trip. The check in and out process was so seamless. I will for sure stay here again!
We had a great stay at this VRBO. The host was always responsive. The location was great and easy to get around. They have all necessary kitchen supplies for us to cook a big dinner for family. The outdoor spaces are great! We took advantage of all 3. Bedding was spectacular! So comfy! Would stay again!
It's a stylish place with a nice layout, beautiful decks, well equipped and a lively, funky neighborhood. Great restaurants nearby. The "but" for us was that the club across the street cranked beat-heavy dance music literally all night, until 5 and 6am on the weekend nights we were there. Not in Justin's control, but a big negative all the same. Also, the place shows minor signs of wear that don't show up in the pics. Mixed experience for us
This condo is awesome! Justin was such an amazing help with all my questions and the check in and out were very easy. There were four of us and the two bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. There was a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. There is a cool coffee shop downstairs and a convenience store down the street. The restaurant Paperboy down the street was so delicious with great service. We took Uber to South Congress and Downtown. You can walk to Franklin BBQ to have the best brisket of your life! We all enjoyed hanging out in this condo together. I definitely recommend it.
Such a fun, unique property! Clean, beds are comfortable, great outdoor spaces, and probably the best-appointed VRBO we've ever stayed in. Would definitely stay again!
Apartment was great for what we needed! Four people (two couples) were comfortable, the balconies were as advertised. The real draw is the location, right next door to a great coffeeshop and walking distance to tons of great bars/restaurants.
Looks as good as the pictures and was just what we needed. Many trips to Austin and there were lots of new places nearby to discover. Love this town will definitely go back.
Overall everything was perfect. The location, the place itself, the communication, and the check in process. I would stay here every visit to Austin if I could!
We had a great stay at this property. The location couldn't have been better, lots of things to do within walking distance in downtown Austin. The apartment was clean and well stocked, the owner communicated very well to make sure we had everything we needed. Our dog enjoyed it too. Highly recommend.
A couple weeks later, weâre still wishing we were on spring break back in Austin. We had a great time with our three teens at this modern condo, and it quickly felt like home. Justin was super responsive to our questions and he gave tons of suggestions for restaurants and shared interesting details about the local area and itâs history. I wish we could have made his Speakeasy tour fit in our schedule!
Our favorite things about the condo were the modern feel, the location, and the three amazing balconies.
The condo wasnât huge, but the layout provided plenty of space to hang out together as well as be alone. We just love clean modern design with plenty of room to put our things.
The street had a great vibe with two high-end retail stores right downstairs as well as a fantastically curated vintage shop, great dive bars, food trucks, walking distance to Paperboy (we ate there 3 times in 5 days - 5 stars - donât miss), and a music venue in the field across the street. Stumbling on live music was a highlight. One evening we heard music and wandered over to check it out. What we found was a few musicians jamming on a stage in a small fenced-in field. We sat at a picnic table and enjoyed the show immensely. We tossed some bills in the can, so hopefully theyâll be jamming when you visit.
For the balconies we liked the small one in the morning with coffee and to watch the chatty Great Tailed Grackle on the light pole. The deck with the daybed was perfect just for lounging during the day or for listening to the blues across the street in the evening. We enjoyed the back deck at night, hanging out by the fire feature and talking about our adventures from the day.
We also had a couple movie nights sprawled out in the living room, an unexpected highlight for a family with three teens/young adults.
Thanks Justin, it was our first taste of Austin, and weâll definitely be back to stay at your place!
This place is the perfect mix of privacy and being in the thick of it. Great coffee & breakfast taco restaurant next door, awesome neighborhood bars down the street, and the amazing barbecue right down the street. this building has businesses on the first 2 floors so for the evenings and weekends you are pretty much alone in the building. Very safe to stay here. The house is fully wired with stereo and Sonos speakers. Large TVs for entertainment. The view, from the kitchen and balconies is just perfect. We will be coming back. Thanks!!
