Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit
Several things were off or went wrong since before we arrived. Host didn’t respond to inquiries for days to a week before the trip about early check in. We were already on the way to Austin when she responded about check in time and at that point we already planned around it. Another issue was finding the house. No visible house number. We immediately saw a notice to vacate on the door. Which was incredibly concerning considering we were supposed to be out on the day the “renter” was supposed to vacate. The renter later notified us that it was a “mistake.” The house was not cleaned upon entry. There were random used towels in the bathroom, bathrooms were dirty, random pieces of broken furniture, the floors were dirty, the sheets were stained and covered in other people’s hair, the couch was dirty and uncomfortable. we had lay down some of the extra blankets to sit on it. The air conditioner did not function properly and most likely because the sensors were not working. The air fryer was disgusting and needs to be replaced. Several closet doors did not open. The water was lukewarm and bathing was unpleasant. It was extremely disappointing considering how much “cleanliness” was emphasized and we were almost charged extra for trying to schedule an earlier arrival around these cleaners who at best only fixed the sheets. The only reason it wasn’t zero stars is becuz she did eventually respond and it was a place to stay with running water.
