The room we were given smelled like a wet cat and felt damp. We found a ball of what looked like lint and hair when we entered. The paint on the walls was peeling. Luckily we were able to also for another room without an issue
For a brand new hotel I was surprised at the condition of the bathroom. Drain plug was broken, veneer peeling from vanity, cobwebs and dirt in the corners. Was very surprised by these. Otherwise the room seemed clean and acceptable. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was what is expected at continental breakfast.
The hotel and room were clean. The beds were comfortable and made for a good night's rest. The checkin staff did the bare minimum. When we asked about places close by to order dinner from , we were told that she couldn't really tell us about anything because she was vegan. Most places will offer you a list of recommendations. I could tell we had interrupted her phone surfing time by checking into our room. We ordered when we got to our room and had it delivered. We called to make her aware that we were waiting for delivery. When we received the text that it had arrived, I immediately went downstairs and got there just in time to keep the delivery person from exiting the hotel because she was sending them away. With the exception of lack of attention from front desk, our one night stay was good.
