The house is fine. It was clean. It was well provisioned. The neighborhood is great. I was hot the whole time I was there but maybe that's just me. The AC seemed to work. Vacasa, the property manager, is terrible to deal with. They made me do an ID check outside of Normal VRBO requirements. I failed it somehow and had a terrible time getting that resolved with Vacasa. I'm allergic to cats and there were cat items all over the house.. One of the bedrooms has a carpeted cat perch installed on the wall and there's a cat scratching pad installed on the wall in the living room and a cat tree in the enclosed back porch. Vacasa could never tell me if someone with cats lived there and tried to tell me there's never been cats there because they only allow dogs. See Photos. I travel to Austin all of the time work work and I probably won't stay here again.
This house is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the house is stocked with most things you may need during your stay. The house was not clean when we arrived. One bed had dirty bedding, there was garbage left from previous occupants, and the floors/rugs were dirty. They sent a cleaning crew in the next day to clean the house. The only thing we noticed that changed was that all the beds had clean bedding. The floors were still very dirty and the garbage was still in the house. The house also has a musty/wet animal smell.
Cozy house in a great location. Spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, ample amenities. The living room is small, but functional. Well decorated. Kitchen is well supplied.
This was a prime spot for shopping, family fun in Zilker Park and lots of restaurants. House was clean and the screened in porch was put to lots of use.
Nice place to stay. Would have been even nicer if there had been enough coffee/creamer on hand at least for the first morning. Screened in porch was a nice bonus. :)
