Such a great space for family to gather- loved the many bedrooms and TWO sitting areas. Kids loved the yard with slide and hammocks, as well as the many entertainment touches like books, toys, crayons, games. Kitchen was well supplied. Kayaking down the river from the backyard was a memorable experience! Managerial company is very communicative.
Great location. We had a family trip and this house was perfect. The back deck, yard and river were so fun. The game area with ping pong table was a huge bonus. We plan to return.
This was our 2nd stay at Serenity on the San Gabriel. It is a great spot for our annual stay to visit family. Beautiful and peaceful yet close to shopping and Georgetown Square. Love this place. We will be back.
Serenity was perfect for our family gathering in town for a wedding. Had all the space we needed with 4 bedrooms and 2 living areas. The kitchen was plenty stocked with cook/serving ware. The backyard deck was enormous, and was great to hang out in the morning and evenings. We rode our bikes and walked the dogs each day on the San Gabriel Trail which was just a short distance from the home. Would definitely book again if in Georgetown!
We were very impressed with the house, better then the pictures for sure. we had 4 adults and 5 kids under 10 and we had room for more. We had family come over who live in town and everyone was impressed with the house. the view out the back was great and the deck was amazing to sit out in the morning and take in the views of wildlife, i didnt know there were so many birds in texas. we will be looking to stay here again on our next visit
Perfect place for all ages. We brought our kids and grandkids and everyone loved it !!! The home is spacious and warm with great beds and nice updated bathrooms and kitchen. The backyard and decks with river access were a highlight for the whole family. We kayaked , made sâmoreâs, the kids set up a coffee shop in the playhouse and we played games and made memories. Communication with the host was great and they were always fast to respond. We would highly recommend Serenity on the San Gabriel !
Perfect location on the San Gabriel River for relaxing, fishing and spending time with family. The house was stylish, clean and had everything we needed.
We loved this place, only wished the river was a bit higher. Lots of games and books for kiddos of all ages. We were stuck with rainstorms one day and found plenty to do without turning to electronics. Great out of the way feel but still in the city and nice being right by the trail entrance.
We took our 50lb dog and she was fine in the yard. Smaller may be able to get out under some of the gaps so just be aware.
Host was great, super responsive, and even left eclipse glasses for us to use đ
Let me start by saying the location to town, trails and river was perfect! The game room was a big hit with our kiddos and home layout was nice for our bigger family. A few buts...I do think the pictures on the vrbo page are old and are definitely taken at diffirent angles to make the front and back yard look bigger then it actually is. When we arrived the home was clean but we did find it odd that there was trash/food still in the kitchen trash and a airplane ticket and clothes tags left in one of the rooms. Each room had a floor fan in it, but the rooms felt stuffy and hot at night, while the rest of the home was nice and cool. Also we went for my dads birthday weekend and there was still chalk written from a previous stay, and one of the boards we were planning to use were broken so that was a little bummer. The only other downfall was that the grass hadn't been mowed in a while so was fairly high and the long deck table had a few broken chairs and the wood hasn't been kept up with and a few of the hanging chairs had rips. These things are minor yes, but we had planned on spending the majority of our time outside and due to these issues this did hinder it a bit. Despite it raining most of the weekend we did enjoy ourselves in this rental. It had a good cozy presence and I did like all the extra thought that you can tell went into furnishing this home for a vrbo.
Wow! Great deck, beautiful rooms, easy access to Georgetown, yet tucked away in a quiet corner.
Perfect for us who had local friends! Our two days exploring Georgetown were lovely! We also took a trip to New Braunfels to the Animal world and Snake Farm for a planned experience. Not a far trip. The house was so nice, neat and clean. Perfect for a group or family! The Deck was peaceful and so nice. Itâs a must see!!
The house was perfect for our group - 6 adults and 4 kids. Two living areas and multi tiered decks were great when other family members came over for barbecue (ordered from The Pit barbecue just two miles from the house). Located at the back of a neighborhood, backing to the San Gabriel we had privacy and wild life. While the river was too low to kayak the expansive yard was great for football and the street dead ends into a beautiful trail head. It was hard to believe we were a 7 minute drive to restaurants and Costco and the Georgetown city airport where we flew into from Arizona.
The grandkids enjoyed the shelves full of books, the game room with ping-pong and the treehouse, bikes and scooters.
My daughter in-laws who are both updating their homes loved the waterfall kitchen island and custom cabinets and I loved the updated primary bath with barn door features and huge shower with rain head shower-head! One son enjoyed the well appointed kitchen for making breakfast and the other son tuned the guitars on the wall and played for us while we relaxed in the well appointed open living areas. The parking was great and check in and check out were very easy.
My husband and I got to shine as hosts in this terrific vacation property. Thank you
We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the home & grounds. We are sad to have to leave & will definitely be coming back! Also our contact was very nice & went above & beyond to make our stay perfect.
My family & I thank you so much for making this a memorable & special family holiday.
God bless

Our group of family and friends stayed during Spring Break. The home was exactly as pictured! It included all the little things to make a stay easy and homey. We rent homes frequently because we travel with our dogs and I can say we have never stayed anywhere so well appointed. Things like hand soap at every sink, nightlights in bathrooms, laundry and dishwasher detergent are all available and in plentiful supply. They had a Keurig and a coffee maker!
We cooked nearly every meal at the house because our Southwestern U son stayed with us and wanted all his favorite foods. The kitchen has everything to make cooking easy. The only MINOR struggle we had was finding enough space for dry storage, but Iâm willing to bet no one brings as much food to a rental home as we did.đ
The outdoor space is absolutely amazing! They even have a mosquito service to reduce the number of the little pests. Lots of wildlife and peace. A stove for fires and plenty of seating. Our teenage kids liked the ping pong table and dart board in the converted garage and a completely fenced in yard was perfect to let our dogs roam leash free.
Honestly, I almost hesitate to list all the amazing things because I donât want to struggle renting here again, because we will definitely will be back!
