There was no hot water for two days. The boiler was broken and had to be replaced. I wonder how they run the dishwashers and washing machines without any hot water. Breakfast was good and Daniel and Anthony did a professional job of explaining the hot water situation when I was not a happy camper. They kept their cool.

Positive Number One : the price was excellent for a random Thursday night in NW Austin. Positive Number Two: the rooms were in great condition, pretty much new as they are remodeling. That leads to Negative Number One that during the day the place is crowded with workers and they make a lot of noise. Positive Number Three : the staff was great Negative Number Two : the hotel is next to a patch of woods where homeless people camp. One bothered me while unloading the car in the pouring rain, I ignored them and went on about my business. There is indeed a security guard who walks the premises at night. That being said once the remodeling is done it will be a great place to stay and I would stay there again for sure.

Everything was clean from the outside and all of the inside. The a/c in my room happened to go out and they immediately put me in another room to one that was working; friendly staff from check-in to check-out; will definitely stay here again

The cleanliness of the hotel room really just ruined the experience. The hotel is newly remodeled and beautiful. And then you see the details of your room. From the pubic hair in our towels and bed, to the red stains in our bedsheets. The staff was very nice and even moved our room. However, the next room was just as dirty with soiled towels , dirty bed sheets, and desperately needed to be vacuumed.

I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at this property. From the moment we arrived, there were issues—no TV or internet, and despite the manager’s promise to fix it, nothing was done. The next morning, the stove and coffee maker didn’t work. When I brought it up at the front desk, the manager disappeared. Later, when I showed him my uncooked eggs, he laughed and dismissed my concerns, even making a public spectacle by asking other guests to clap if they were happy. To make matters worse, the front desk misrepresented my concerns, telling other guests I was “talking down” to employees. When I requested another room with a working stove, I was told they were sold out. After escalating the issue to corporate, the manager retaliated by claiming my complaints were “hostile” and forced me to leave the property. I had to find another hotel during SXSW Weekend. This was an unacceptable experience—unprofessional management, poor service, and a complete lack of accountability. I would never recommend staying here.
