Flooding safety risk early departure refund denial

Unfortunately we were booked for 3 days during the 2025, 4 July weekend flooding event. Being concerned about our safety we contacted the airline for an immediate flight change. It took time to get the flight change confirmed and our subsequent contacting the Carpenter for a day early departure was not accommodated. Very disappointing considering the flooding risk and our need to depart immediately
