The apartment is located in south of Avignon and easy to reach. There is a local market across the road where we would get fresh baguettes and fruits every morning. There is Lidl nearby (5 minutes drive), along with bakeries. The apartment itself was very neat and comfortable. We communicated regularly with Nina and always received a prompt answer. Nina speaks only French and we used google translate to communicate with her and this worked out very well. She was very nice and friendly in her answers and she had even left chocolates for our kids. There was a little hiccup at the time of the check in: we couldnât open the main door of the building but there was a nice resident who helped us. Maybe the instructions to enter the main door of the building should be clearer. The apartment had everything that one could need during a stay: the kitchen was well stocked (Nespresso machine, water kettle, iron, towels, bedding, etc) and the WiFi connection was very strong. We did not use the public transport system as we had our own car. The apartment is centrally located - we visited Gorges de Verdon, Gorges de Archede, Marseilles, Camargue - all highly recommended and were maximum two hours away from the apartment. We even went to Cannes and Monaco which are three hours away from this apartment.Overall we had a wonderful stay in this apartment and I highly recommend this apartment.
Check-in didnât quite work as instructed. The person at the apartment we were told to contact didnât understand why we contacted them. Luckily a young woman let us enter the building so we could access the apartment. While the apartment was quite a ways from city center, there was a convenient bus line and stop just 1/2 a block away. The kitchen facilities and access to wifi were just fine.
