The cabin itself is much larger than the pictures give it credit for. Nice secluded location. A little further from the parks than I anticipated but it gave us a nice scenic drive.
My husband, dog and I loved our stay here! It was so peaceful and out in the middle of the wild, while still being close to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. We enjoyed the hot-tub, watching the sunset, and the good wifi connection to be able to watch college football. We would stay here again if we were back in the area.
Just what we needed for our national parks trip. Close to both Kings Canyon and Sequoia. The neighborhood was quiet and remote. The roads are narrow and windy but worth it to see those views. The place was as described and had a lot for you to do while resting after a day of hiking (hot tub, puzzles, games, telescope) . Sarinah communicated an issue with us promptly. Would recommend!
good, hot tub with great views, but question the listing for 6 guests. Only 2 rooms, one queen bed. An inflatable mattress only fits in kitchen/living room, small and uncomfortable pull out sofa was for 2 more ...
Loved the bird watching. Place is as advertised (remote). About 30 minutes on windy roads to Kings Canyon visitor center. Only requests would be more hand towels and stuff like ziplocks and Saran Wrap for packing food. Our stay was great.
Amazing property and views. Having a dip in the jacuzzi after a long day of hiking was the cherry on top. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Will 100% be coming back!
Everything was expected, if not better. I honestly thought it would feel a lot more cramped with our family of 6. We were prepared for that. But when we got to the property after a long day of traveling and spending time at Kings Canyon National Park, we were exhausted and coming "home" was great! Checking in was so easy. The place was clean and we had room to unwind. The shower was great! That's not normally something I think about but truly the pressure and warm water felt amazing. Plus because we have a daughter in a wheelchair, it was so nice to stay in a place where we could shower her because there was a little seat in there. It was perfect and not something that usually happens for us. Our kids loved seeing all the wildlife around the property and we enjoyed the hot tub every night. Unfortunately, because we were there during fire season we couldn't use the fire pit but something I thought would be a major disappointment to. The kids turned out to not even matter because they enjoyed the property even without it. We played the games that were provided and every night we were able to cook a nice meal to fuel up for the next day. We would definitely stay here again.
Cute little place with amazing views! Driving around Badger is quite the adventure on all of the winding roads, but itâs totally worth it. We loved the comfy beds, hot tub, and large selection of games and activities.
The property is remote and charming, exactly as described in the listing. Our host was fantastic. She communicated promptly and accurately. And she went the extra mile to help solve an issue that arose with Vrbo. Thanks Sarinah!!
Very cute house that has great views. The hot tub and fire pit were great ways to spend the evening after a day at the national parks. A great mountain experience.
Exactly what we were looking for - nice quiet getaway with privacy and enough amenities to not have to leave. The property itself appears large, but very little accessibility. Hills are steep and there are no trails.
Itâs quite & secluded. Well maintained property. Itâs located close to Kings Canyon entrance. I would definitely stay here again.
My only concern were the small holes in driveway near door entrance had yellow jackets coming out. A load of gravel would fix the problem.
This property has everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and the outdoor area with the grill, fire pit and hot tub were great. I wish we would have had one more day/night to enjoy the property only. Itâs a little out of the way to get to, but completely worth it. Ownersâ communication was amazing as well. Great place to stay!
We stayed here with our 3 children with the plan to see Sequioa National Park. The location is on a winding road but the reward is isolation and great views and a place with all the amenities. We loved hiking all day and coming back to a hot tub and grill to enjoy the evening. evening. The evening.
I can't say enough positive things about this cottage! The host was incredibly responsive and you can tell a lot of details were put in place to make every person feel right at home. The views are immaculate from the property and a comfortable drive to the national parks. I would book again in a heartbeat if ever in the area!
This property was the best VRBO weâve rented! The views, the amenities, the gracious hostâall top notch. The road construction added some time and effort to get to parks, but even with that, weâd choose to stay here again in a heartbeat.
This property was perfect for our visits to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. From sâmores supplies to venom extraction kits, they thought of everything to make sure you had the best stay, both at the cabin and out in nature. And sitting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking, watching the stars come out, was the icing on the cake. Would absolutely stay again if weâre in the area and highly recommend to others.
This cabin is perfect for a couple and their dog. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has everything, and the view is great. The stars are beautiful. We would recommend using Dunlap Road to access the cabin, avoiding Millwood Rd.
This place is special. The view from everywhere is spectacular. The home is well stocked and tidy with modern furnishings. We loved our stay here. Couple things to note, the drive up is on a 1.5 lane road with switch backs. Its a little intense but well worth the effort. Be familiar with what poison oak looks like. Easy to avoid as long as you know what too look for. Additionally, the main road to kings canyon was closed during our stay. Detour added about a half hour to our drive. Property was so lovely we took a break from the drive and spent a day puzzling, enjoying the hot tube, playing games, and wondering at the view.
