The view was amazing!!! We enjoyed the sunrise from the primary bedroom every morning. You can see the Seattle skyline from the deck. We drank coffee and watched sea otters, birds, seals, and sea lions from the deck every morning. The furniture and bedding are comfortable, with a luxurious bathroom featuring a heated toilet/bidet and rain shower heads. The first-floor bedroom has a musty odor and is equipped with dehumidifiers. The parking at the end of the road is a short walk. The fire pit was not operational while we were there, but the weather was warm and sunny. Close to fantastic parks, hiking, and a short trip to the ferry. We have a suggestion for guests arriving late on the first day: a couple of extra coffee pods would help you get through the first morning before a grocery run. Check out the Bloedel Preserve, Doc's Marina, and Harbour Public House.

The house is absolutely beautiful, and wonderfully appointed. Our only issue with the house is that the cleaning crew missed a lot, which made us question the cleanliness of the entire home. For that reason, we were washing things before and after using them. Hopefully this will be addressed, as it's a wonderful home.

Overall the property was fine, but there were some things that needed attention. It was clean overall with a few exceptions such as dust on the headboards, and mildew in the Brita water pitcher.The furniture was very comfortable in the living room. The barstools, not so much. It was great having a nice kitchen and bathrooms on all 3 levels. The beds were fine. I was disappointed after driving past all the beautiful flowers in the area to have only weeds on the property. The initial smell that hits you downstairs when first entering is very off-putting. The bedroom downstairs needs some help; too many air filters that were overdue for an emptying, no nightstand or available plug near the bed. The air filter light to empty and shower upstairs clogging were reported. Neither were fixed while we were there. The deck is very nice and enjoyable. Parking is horrendous with the narrow drive and turnaround. Not for the inexperienced. I'm not sure if I would stay again. However, I think I would still give it 4 stars because it had everything you need, but not as comfortable and inviting as it could be.

Fabulous View

Loved the location and the view! Quiet property. Towels and washcloths need to be updated. I went and purchased my own. All other amenities were great. Downstairs has a musty smell and there are no screens on the lower level so we couldn’t let fresh air in there at night. Overall a great vacation was had by all.

Lots of views and lots of ocean animals

There are tons of windows and deck areas overlooking Puget sound. We saw orcas, dolphins, seals, river otters, and bald eagles all from the house. The house is built right on the water wall which is great for seeing animals and going on the beach. It is not great for cars. We drove the car down to load and unload but then parked at the neighborhood parking lot about a block away. The waves at high tide come right up to the top of the sea wall and if a cargo ship goes by it will shower your car with salt water, rocks, and shells.The second bedroom is on the first level and smelled of mold. We used updated bathroom and shower down there but chose to sleep on the sofa instead of the bed.The primary bedroom is on the third floor. It has a king sized bed and amazing views.The house is in good shape and kitchen is updated. The property manager is prompt to reply but it is company run so I talked to someone different each time I got a reply.I would absolutely stay here again. We spent a whole day relaxing at the house enjoying the views without going out anywhere.

Started out iffy, ended up fabulous

We had a hiccup at first, with our original location being unavailable at the last minute due to weather damage. Vacasa found us a new place to stay immediately. What they didn’t tell us (because they probably didn’t know) was that the power was out. The home owner was there, fortunately!) and got us settled, built a fire and made sure we were comfortable. Power came on about 24 hours later and we were able to finish our trip.

Soulful getaway

The views are amazing! We saw Orcas, seals, and otters from the deck. Great view of Seattle - loved the skyline at night. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. Great getaway for the soul. Suggest parking in the parking lot and walking to home.

Beautiful waterfront home

Beautiful location. Home has nice amenities. The sound of the waves and the gorgeous views exceeded our expectations. The deck furniture and fire pit are serviceable but a bit tired. The drive to the house was narrow and the turn around not for the faint of heart. That said it is a beautiful spot and we would happily stay there again

Family Visit

House as billed....Nice place. Comfortable layout. Beautiful view. Check in/check out was simple as could be. Difficult parking (best to have a small car), House right on the water. Can hear the waves hitting the retaining wall at the base of the house at night as the tide comes in. One issue that never got resolved was getting the heater to warm up the first floor of the house.

Gorgeous views

Pros: Gorgeous views, sandy beach when tide is down, outdoor deck, short commute to city via ferry. Cons: Induction stove in kitchen hard to use, outdoor furniture not clean upon arrival, heater would not keep the house above 68° and kids were cold the whole stay, no wood or lighter for the wood fireplace, when at high tide at night the waves hit retaining wall and shake the house, outdoor handrailing not safe for kids. In review the house has great potential to be an amazing stay, but the house is currently for sale and you can tell owner is scooting by doing bare minimum upkeep.

Relaxing getaway!

The home was so relaxing on the water. It was nicely appointed! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and there is a gas firepit for the evening. Part of the deck would be a concern for young toddlers. We would love to visit again.

A breath of beach air

My husband and I stayed in this Bainbridge Island home for my birthday. The location seems a little remote as you are driving there, but that’s the absolute beauty of this place. We loved everything about it. The views to Seattle and surrounding area were spectacular. The house was very comfortable. Outside deck was our place of choice for most of our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom and bathrooms were just right. I would recommend this home for 2 or 4 people, the upstairs bedroom being much showier then the downstairs one-not because it isn’t comfortable, but the views are so much better upstairs. Easy access to the main roads off Bainbridge or to the ferry. 10 minutes to downtown. It’s a really great location. No disappointments.

Great seaside retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at this seaside home. The views are spectacular, the kitchen and living room are spacious and well-appointed. We spent much of our time on the deck enjoying the views and hearing the waves. The master suite is huge with a great bathroom. As others have stated, trying to turn the car around in that tight space is tricky, but we figured it out. A great stay overall!

Amazing View

Fabulous location right on the water. Great small town with good restaurants and stores. Only a 30 minute ferry ride to Seattle - so easy. Just need better parking instructions and some board games in the house. Oh yeah, put the house/island info papers in a binder. Thanks for a great stay! Our family enjoyed it!

Large, 360 Views, Modern, Comfortable

Better than the pictures. The location was beautiful. Great interior design and sight lines on windows made sure you had amazing views of the water and the Seattle Skyline even indoors. It was nice to relax upstairs with the windows partly open to hearing the waves lapping on the rock beach. Large comfortable living room / kitchen with fireplace. There was even an office space to WFH.
