Staff is always friendly and attentive. Rooms are simple but good, dog friendly and great location. Great for a night stop . Have stayed here many times. Great value in my opinion
The property was fine, rooms were okay. But I asked the front desk to have extra towels he said no, there are towels in your room. And I said I like extra towels, he said I give you one towel. Go to watch TV, and it cuts in and out, one channel is available(The AMC) and the remote doesn't work with he tv. That's frustrating. Went to ask if we could have a extended check out. He said no, 11 okay.
Room was not cleaned. Leftover pizza in micro, food in drawers, hair in bathtub. When concerns were bright to staffs attention they did not do anything to address the issue. I travel to Baker City once a year. I would not recommend and will not stay there again.
Check in, room was not ready (we checked in at 4:45pm) and not clean yet.
When finally clean around 6pm-ish floors were not clean and not mopped, crumbs all over. Towels were made but bundles of hair in all of them (disgusting).
Sink outside of bathroom was definitely not touched to be cleaned.
Lights outside of room were so bright right outside of window, and shades did not cover all of window so was bright all night, hard to fall asleep.
Guy at check-in was nice. Room was clean. No coffee maker, shampoo, or blow dryer in the room, but there was a fridge and microwave. Beds were firm, but we like that. Location was convenient.
It was very basic and kinda sketchy. Sort of a heavy drug vibe from the other tenants. I would of given higher stars if it was super cheap, but I paid around $90 when it should of at most been about $50. For comparison, the next night in Moab which is very cool, I paid $66 for a gorgeous room by Wyndham. Plus side it seemed quite clean which I appreciate. Bed was comfortable enough.
