Overall, I’d stay here again for the comfort of the room and bed alone, but I hope the management puts some effort into training the front desk team to match the quality of the rest of the hotel.

The rooms in the freeway side are way too close to the freeway. When we checked out on the way to Bakersfield I asked for a room on the other side of the facility, they told me that it was all taken care of on my return trip. When I checked in tonight they put me in the same room? Told me that there was no other rooms available. Never staying there again.

It was a nice hotel but a little bit dated. We stayed in the suite with a pool view and it was worth the upgrade. Staff was nice, easy check-in, basic continental breakfsst. The pool/spa area was really nice. The cabanas are a nice touch. I would stay here again.

Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was on the second floor. We got a junior suit. One room had a king bed and the other room had a fold out couch. Had to call for bedding for the fold out. Just so everyone knows, the bathroom inside the room with the king bed has a large window where you could see everything that’s going on inside the bathroom. We are happy there was a private bathroom in the other room. For a moment we thought we were going to have to do our business with everybody watching. Bed was firm and very minimal with the furnishings. Balcony was nice. Had sliding glass doors opening up from both rooms to one large balcony. Didn't have time to use the pool or hot tub but they looked nice. The breakfast was awful. The coffee machine didn’t work and they had to keep coming out to fix it. The breakfast was just small Little Debbie type muffins that were old and dry, coffee and juice. There was also orange juice and oatmeal packets but no where to sit to eat. Online check out was easy to use. Overall the motel was older and could have been more comfortable to relax in but we were just there to sleep and shower so I guess it served its purpose.

Love the hour glass…. We have been staying with them since they first opened…. It’s like coming home every time we come down to see family. Rooms are huge two bathrooms when two girls are trying to her ready is the best!!!!! The furniture is comfy and the beds are great!!!! My only complaint would be the shower with the bathtub a nice walk in shower would be amazing as there is already a deep soaking tub in the other bathroom. Staff is great and helpful!!!!! We used to stay at the Hampton but not anymore we always stay at the hour glass…. Thanks for the amazing stay this trip was not a fun one came down to bury my momma and I appreciate the hour glass being a safe comfortable place to be during a hard time.
