Exhausted, lost and ridiculed, oh what a night!!!

When I went in to check in there was a sign on the door that said they were out to lunch, so return at 7:20. It was 7:10, there was a girl sitting in an area with tables and chairs. She told me she couldn't help me until 7:20. I asked if there was anyone else who could help, she said no. I went back outside and waited with my husband. When I went in the 2nd time she was very direct with me. She told me room 120. I had to ask directions to the room, she didn't offer. My husband and I had each drive 2 vehicles for over 10 hours. She pointed to my left. We didn't find the room for about 10 minutes more. It was in a "corridor" within the center of the building. My husband had to move our vehicles closer. When he was going in he saw someone standing next to a car and reported it to the manager as suspicious. While we were unpacking here she comes and says "what is your problem, the guy has a room here". My husband said, the last time I ignored a guy looking shady my truck was stolen. She assumed that we were prejudice, herself and the man were black. He said he wasn't (he is Mexican) bickering back and forth. She ended it by saying they would guard our cars, have a good night My husband felt bad and apologized to the man.

Without a pet: beautiful carpeted rooms on groundfloor or upper floor!! Pretty furniture, Awesome breakfast included for FREE Every day, That is unique along this motel mile Toast/Orange Juice/Bagels/Butter, Jam/ joghurts!/ cereals milk Water, and Coffee. Excellent Hospitality!!!!

Gross, stinky, poopy

Traveling across the country this was our last overnight. The whole area of the property smelled (i was told that there are chicken farms surrounding them). But honestly, that smell was strongest in the courtyard that the rooms open onto. The courtyard itself was swampy (dont walk there). Our room stank... diferently. The floor was damp, and i assumed they had steam cleaned. Nope! Next morning, i put my towel on the floor after my shower (im nice and clean!) And brown seeped up! I can only assume they had a toilet overflow and... didnt deep clean. Upside, great water pressure. Spend a little more elsewhere.

I absolutely love the staff, location and amenities provided here. I feel safe. The room is clean, equipped with fridge and microwave and TV, Free Wifi and really good in room coffee. I would recommend it to anyone traveling on I-5 or in the Buttonwillow area
