Good for an overnight stay

Pros: Dinner and Breakfast very good and nicely served by Restaurant staff Recommend asking for room at rear.....traffic starts early! Good value
Location: About half hour from Ft William and handy for Glencoe of course...Kinlochleven for Ice Adventure and climbing walls
An overnight stay to break journey. Well placed hotel . A few "tweaks" and it would have got excellent but I accept that these old hotels struggle a bit....and it was nice not to have coach loads of people staying where you have to fight to get into breakfast!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit schöner Sicht auf den See. Gute Parlplatzmöglichkeiten. Das gesamte Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.

Sehr schöne Lage, tolle Aussicht, ruhige Zimmer (Straße kaum befahren). Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber tolles Restaurant / Frühstücksraum.

Cons: ehrlichere Beschreibung
Location: Schottland, waren nur auf der Durchfahrt
Altes Herrenhaus, knarrende Treppen und Böden, antiquierte Einrichtung, wurde nur Wege der Lage für 1 Nacht ausgewählt. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht zu empfehlen

Das Hotel ist sehr idyllisch am Wasser gelegen. Zum Glencoe sind es nur 5-10min Fahrtzeit. Von außen macht die Unterkunft einiges her und auch die Einrichtung in den Fluren ist toll. Alt und robust - sehr charmant. Weniger toll war das Zimmer. Der Teppich war sehr fleckig, das Badezimmer abgenutzt. Hätte ich nicht über 120€ für die macht bezahlt, wäre das nicht weiter schlimm gewesen. Für den Preis allerdings eine große Enttäuschung. Das Frühstück war wiederum sehr gut und das Personal jederzeit freundlich!
