Had an exceptional stay at this new hotel. The rooms were lovely and great to come back to after a long day of hiking. The hot pool was an added bonus. The good folk restaurant offered amazing food at good prices. The only thing to be aware of is that the hotel is a little bit out of the main town, however it is only a short 15 min walk away and the hotel offers free bus passes to get into town easily - not really a downside as you still are in Banff but just something to be aware of

One of the best hotels we stayed in Banff. Highly recommended. The room has the vibe of Japanese minimalism, beautifully designed, very functional and clean. Hot tub was cozy and had a view. Staff service was very helpful giving us utensils and refills of oat milk and tea.

The property is very lovely. The decor of the room and common areas was beautiful. However, I would have preferred a coffee maker in the room rather than the pour-over set up. There was a nice area for enjoying food in the room, yet there was no microwave. The restaurant on property had a true mountain ambiance and appealed to a more discerning clientele. I can't attest to the food because we walked out without ordering. We were in the mood for much simpler fare.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Otter Hotel in Banff! Everything was just perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful — we truly felt welcomed and cared for. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The view of the mountains from the balcony was absolutely stunning — like something out of a postcard. The location is great too: it’s about a 15–20 minute walk to downtown Banff, and there are many great restaurants nearby. The hotel itself has everything you need: convenient parking, a beautiful rooftop with a jacuzzi, and a fantastic restaurant with delicious breakfasts and dinners. We really enjoyed our stay here — everything was top-notch. We would definitely love to come back!
