I stayed in one of the hotel’s top suites, and it was still loud and uncomfortably hot. Bring earplugs if you plan to sleep. The experience went downhill from the start. The jacuzzi felt unhygienic, closer to a sewer than a spa, and I was told it wouldn’t be cleaned for days. I left with skin irritation instead of rest. Room service was unreliable—orders arrived cold or wrong, even after clear instructions. The same dishes varied wildly in taste day to day. When I was unwell and requested fruit, it never arrived. I had to go out and buy it myself. Even the suite was poorly thought out for comfort or work—no proper workstation, and a minibar stocked with alcohol but no mixers or sparkling water. Actually, it was hidden far away from the bar, in a closet in the bedroom. I visit Bangkok often. This was my worst hotel experience here. Cleanliness, consistency, and basic comfort were missing, which defeats the purpose of paying for a premium stay.

The standard king room was beautiful overall. There were a few minor maintenance issues, including visible water damage and bubbling plaster on the bathroom ceiling, bubbling on the crocodile-print leather detail next to the TV, and some stitching coming undone on the armchair. Aside from these points, the room felt lush and very comfortable. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but both lunch and dinner were delicious.
