The property is in disrepair. When checking in, the lobby smelled of weed. The beds were clean but the carpet was not clean. The bathroom hasn’t been remodeled since the 1970s. The fridge and microwave was in working order. The breakfast was nice. The day staff was very friendly.

Not sure why the positive reviews for this place. Perhaps some of the rooms are better than others, but ours was a total dump. Lumpy bed and paper thin pillow with threadbare sheets. Mould and grunge shower. No cups. Room smelled bad upon entering — a combination of mold, piss, pot, and cigarettes. Riff raff seem to also live at the motel. Only pros: Bathroom was original 1950s tile and surrounds, which was cool. And the water pressure was great. Walgreens and a grocery store nearby.

Older hotel but nicely fixed up. Cute Maine theme in the decor. Comfy beds. Decent breakfast with several options. The curtains were thin and the early morning sun came right in our room. Staff were less than friendly, but we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay here again if in the area.

The free shuttle service to the Maine Amphitheater was an unexpected surprise and was very convenient. The room was quaint and very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would most definitely recommend the hotel.

Most of the fixtures are telling customers they have been there for many years. But that's also reflecting on the price. I can't give a higher review because the shower tub wouldn't drain properly until I pulled out a large mass of hair, clearly from previous customers. I consider that a neglect of basic clean-up of a room.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Vacationland Inn. I would come back in a heartbeat! The hotel provided a shuttle free of charge to the concert venue which was amazing!! We loved the room design and the hot tub was amazing! The only negative was there was a nail that was pulled out from the door casing and I ended up getting my dress caught on the nail not knowing and ripped my dress and the sink that was beautiful was not the most practical as it did not fully drain. I plan to come back again though!! Thank you!!!

We came for the Shania Twain concert and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful the room was clean and comfortable, we would stay again!

The beds were old, overall the property was worn down. The showers were cold for two of us because apparently you need to run the water until it gets warm. Not enough plugs close to the bed so charging our phones was inconvenient. I wouldn’t stay again.
