location is greatâright across from Beech Mountainâand we enjoyed spending time as a family playing games in the living room by the fireplace. The shower was clean and updated.Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted our stay. We were a family of five staying for five days and were only provided with four towels and two trash bags. While additional towels were brought over promptly after we asked, we had to purchase our own trash bags because we ran out before the end of our trip.Cleanliness was a major problem. The floors were extremely sticky, and when I wiped them with a wet paper towel, it came up very dirty. Most concerning and completely unacceptable was finding a pair of dirty underwear left in the corner of the master bedroom. This was absolutely disgusting and made us question how thoroughly the unit had been cleaned.One night was also very loud, with neighbors yelling, swearing, and fighting until around 1 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep. Additionally, we cooked multiple meals during our stay, but there were no oven mitts provided, making it difficult to safely use the oven.This property has potential due to its location, but cleanliness and basic supplies need serious improvement.
