The room was large and lovely, well appointed and nice and clean. the hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking and the decor of the building nice. The provided breakfast was lacklustre and some of the bakery items stale. Coffee was tepid at best. All dealings, over a 2 day stay, with staff left a lot to be desired other than the single staff member on duty when we arrived. She was extremely helpful. Asking a question was met with silence and no communication until more than a few minutes passed and it was like I was inconveniencing them from the cell phone or other thing they wanted to do. Although the fabric of the hotel is lovely, and it occupies a great location in town, the lacklustre staff, and their attitude to guests (customers) would prevent me from staying again or recommending. Really is a huge shame.

Everything was great. We LOVED our balcony and location was perfect. The shower/bathroom was a bit small and I would’ve loved to have another middle outside the bathroom, but we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Staff wonderful and location great. Rooms small, bathroom really tiny and no place to hang things except for a very smal clothes bar with half blocked with a tall fridge. We encoje y the stay but a tad disappointed in the room.

The best thing about the Acadia Inn is the location, directly across from the main square in town and very, very easily walkable everywhere! The free parking directly behind the hotel was very much appreciated! Also very convenient location to Acadia National Park. The hotel is really cute, just could use some updated decor in the common areas. The area where they had breakfast and the bar were beautiful. We would definitely stay again!

I really enjoyed staying at the Acadia Hotel! It is a block off the main strip of Bar Harbor so it was very easy to find different dining options that were close by. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, they have a parking lot behind the hotel for their guests which made parking very convenient. The continental breakfast had an omelette bar option which was very refreshing! There was a tea and coffee bar that is complimentary and available all day. Would definitely recommend!

Breakfast was great, room 305 breaker for bathroom tripped every time turned light off, had to go to breaker box around 15 times to fix,reported it, said they were sorry. Room 5, other room i booked, toilet backed up, but took care of it. Day we checked out, Breakfast wasn't ready until 7:35, 7-10 am are the hours, said they couldn't get into tavern area?? Not the end of the world. Overall, a nice place, location is wonderful to all things Bar Harbor.

This little hotel is ideally located in the center of town. Every restaurant was within 2-4 minutes and all other things to see were very close. We loved the front porch and enjoyed the made to order omelettes every morning. Even though it is a hotel, it had the feel of a cozy and warm inn. I recommend this place highly. It’s one of our favorite places that we’ve stayed.

Great location in the heart of Main Street Bar Harbor. Typical of old homes and inns. It’s a bit noisy but the room comes with a sound machine. The draw is definitely the location. You are steps away from the restaurants and shopping of Main Street. Great staff as well. Stay upstairs!

Charming hotel

King room with private balcony was a clean and charming place to stay. Parking on site is tight. Within walking distance to all activities and food. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful.
