This property DOES NOT live up to the listing in any way, shape, or form. Upon arrival, the property was very worn and dilapidated. To sum it up, we dealt with structural issues of the food bridge and stairs, leaking shower, an unstable toilet from the shower damage, the smell of feces and urine, a washer that wouldn’t drain and dryer that was blowing moisture and lint into our bedroom. In addition, there was a very evident rodent and insect infestation, as well as mold/ mildew.
We reported these concerns to Vacasa, the property management company, two days into our trip. They sent a handy man, who noted the severity of the conditions and said himself that this was not what we paid for and a refund would be coming. He created a maintenance ticket and would be sending someone the next day for the washer and dryer. The next day, a kid came and connected the exhaust tube, but said he was not authorized to fix the washer - a repairman from a local appliance store would be by. I waited two more days for Brown’s Appliance, who determined it would be a few more days because it need a new pump. Nothing really got resolved. My elderly in laws left early due to the conditions. We stayed hoping the next day would bring a resolution.Again, we called Vacasa on Friday, our second to last day. Finally asking for a refund due to the horrible conditions and losing 3+ days waiting for repairmen. Their offer was 15% off a future Vacasa stay, we found insulting. What a nightmare!
