Une chambre avec lit queen-size, salle de séjour, une salle de bain avec baignoire et douche. Il y a un petit réfrigérateur et Keurig; pas de cuisine. Wi-fi gratuit, mais pas de télévision. Un "prolongateur" Wi-Fi a résolu les problÚmes liés au Wi-Fi que certains commentateurs ont décrits. Il y a un grand canapé sur lequel un enfant en bas ùge ou un trÚs jeune enfant serait à l'aise pour dormir, mais ce n'est pas un lit pliant. Cette unité est au-dessus de notre garage avec entrée séparée par un escalier extérieur, s'il vous plaßt voir les photos. S'il y a des problÚmes de mobilité, ce n'est pas l'endroit pour vous! Comprend l'accÚs (jusqu'à deux étapes) à un dépistage dans balcon.

Nous sommes situés dans la zone Ville Colline de Bar Harbor. BH centre-ville est à 15-20 minutes de route d'ici, en utilisant le charme et avec précision nommée "Crooked Road." NE et SW Harbors et Ellsworth, sont également chacun à environ 15 minutes en voiture. La réserve "Blue Horizons" du Maine Coast Heritage Trust se trouve à 10 minutes à pied de l'océan et la réserve naturelle de Blagdon est à 5 minutes en voiture.
Lors de votre séjour dans cet appartement, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes à pied de Atlantic Brewing Company. Cet appartement comprend des équipements et services comme l'accÚs Wi-Fi à Internet gratuit et une cheminée.

Bucket List Trip

This was a wonderful place to stay for my Bucket List Trip to Mount Desert Island. The location is just what I needed to relax and unwind. The hosts check in on me via text to ensure that I had everything needed. There spot in the forest was like a trip back to a time of wizards, fairies and knight.

Close to everything!

The pictures do not do this place justice. Very clean and on a gorgeous property. Close to everything you’d want to do on the island. We also tried a few of the restaurants recommended by our host and enjoyed them all!

Little apartment near Acadia

This was a neat little apartment in the woods and our stay was very comfortable! The bed slept well and the temperature control was simple and worked very well. Only thing we missed was a microwave. Otherwise very convenient! It was also within a short distance of Acadia National Park and made a very handy spot to return to each evening.

Peaceful Getaway Close to the Park!

This property was stunning and I loved getting to enjoy the peacefulness of it surrounded by trees. The location couldn’t have been better and was so convenient to everything on Mount Desert Island. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Peaceful retreat

A beautiful stay in the woods away from traffic and noise. Hosts were helpful but left us alone/available if needed. Close to Acadia, restaurants and Bar Harbor downtown. A great place to stay!

Cozy and Quiet

Very lovely spot in a quiet wooded area with a great central location on the island. Comfortable and clean. There were magical tiny lights on the large trees outside that made it fun. Also come nice walking trails nearby. We loved it there and would definitely go back.

Cozy place to stay!

The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park.

Peaceful Retreat

This property is perfect for a solo traveler. It is peaceful and quiet but close to Acadia National Park as well as Bar Harbor. Barbara was such a great host, with all kinds of tips about the area and information about the NP. Sometimes, I navigated only from her directions without using GPS! I even got suggestions prior to going on the trip which really helped in planning! The apartment has many little extras such as a Keurig and a well-stocked bookshelf. The bed is comfortable and the property is beautiful with fairie lights in the trees welcoming you back if you arrive after dark. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location to Acadia National Park

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. The guest suite was impeccably clean and had everything to make us comfortable. It was a nice place to come back to after long hikes and crowds in town because it was private and peaceful. Very enjoyable!

Quiet, convenient stay near Acadia NP

The host was easy to reach and gave us heads up on where to book reservations early for special sights( Cadillac Mountain and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden), location was only 15-20 minutes from key sights, accommodation offered good value. Be aware that there are steep steps and a tight bathroom. However, the unit was the perfect place for our timing and budget.

Loved the place! My brother and I were on a bucket list trip to New England and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the woods! Very clean and comfortable. Close to Acadia and several good restaurants. Will return again for sure.

Magical haven at Acadia

Best vacation hideaway! The studio was just what I had hoped! Located in the woods, quiet, yet central to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was clean and sunny. Barbara and David are FABULOUS hosts! They respected my privacy, yet were available to answer any questions I had. Their suggestions on restaurants, hikes, and must sees were awesome! There is no TV, which may be difficult for some. It was a perfect way for me to unplug, relax and catch up on some reading. Several other reviews mentioned adding a microwave to reheat leftovers. While it would have been helpful, it definitely was not a deal breaker. There is a Keurig as well as an electric hot water kettle. It was great to be able to enjoy coffee or tea in my down time. I wish I could give them more stars. I am so hopeful to return to explore more of Acadias beauty. I will be sure to stay at Barbara and David’s getaway haven! Thank you for a magical stay!!

Great place to stay

It's around 16 min by car from Bar Harbour and ~15 min walking from a trail that goes to a nice beach. The unit was great, and very cozy. We had a parking spot. The hosts were welcoming.
