The flat was centrally located to cafes, sites, supermarkets and transportation hubs with taxis at the corner. The flat had a convenient elevator to top floor unit and its private terrace and laundry room. The rooms do not face the street so it is extremely quiet and sunny in a.m. The windows face an open area in center of block and had lovely patios and large greenhouses. Each of the two bedrooms have queen beds but are European sized rooms aka small. The master has a wall to wall wardrobe unit for great storage. The kitchen is very well equipped with gas stove top, gas bbq grill, full sized refrigerator, double sink, the hard to find electric oven plus microwave! Perfect for those who want to cook! The bathroom has a lovely big shower with rain head and hand unit. The lounge area has a sofa and smart tv and at the other end is a dining table and chairs The unit is equipped with linens and supplies for guests. We stayed three weeks, much longer than most and the supplies were ample for our needs. The unit is very safe and in a great location. The streets are a residential area and people are friendly and helpful. Fidel was delightful to work with and lives nearby so close if any issues or for suggestions of places to eat or see. There is public parking on the block and ac/heat in the unit. We used the heater two nights. March and April were lovely weather of 65-72 F for three weeks!

Very well maintained and clean. Comfortable space with modern kitchen and great roof patio. Quiet neighborhood with many shops and restaurants nearby. We needed some help to learn the correct way to unlock the door, all was fine after that. Could not find any TV in English.

Super Location And An AWESOME Owner

The home was comfortable and offered the basics you may need. The rooftop deck was great and we used it every night to wind down and review all that we did for the day.The property was extremely secure and my wife and I felt very comfortable walking around the area. There are several very nice restaurants within 1-2 blocks of the property. If you reserve this unit, you'll love the communication with the owner.

Beautiful and quiet upper floor apartment in Barcelona

The apartment was as expected and perfect for our family. The neighborhood was quiet, safe,Close enough to walk to tourist areas, with great restaurants and secure off street private parking. We had a little difficulty finding parking area due to construction and what we initially thought was a pedestrian only street, but the host was very kind and helped direct us to the parking and walked us into the apartment. He even gave us recommendations for local restaurants. We highly recommend booking this apartment!

The property is satisfactory. Fidel, the host was very nice and accommodating. I cannot recommend it for a winter stay as it was generally cold and there is only heat in the living / dining area and bathroom. Not adequate even in those spaces to make it cozy. It was fine for sleeping but not for hanging out. Not a great place for people who may want to cook more heating things up. The kitchen is old and stocked with old and worn cookware and accessories. Coffee mugs for example are chipped and stained. Instructions for the oven, washer and heating system would have been helpful. The oven is a mystery. The microwave only operated for one minute at a time on high. There is no dryer (unless you count clothes lines). The property would be vastly improved with some instructions, recommendations for markets and restaurants (Fidel has great ones but we had to ask), and some simple upgrades like a new microwave and coffee mugs. All this being said, we had a wonderful trip because the location is perfect and it’s Barcelona! The unit is clean and can be very comfortable, the building is clean and quiet, and the terrace would be great in the right weather. I would stay again but not in winter.

Comfortable Stay in Barcelona

Our family enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. Although the flat is not located in the city center, the subway system is a short walking distance away. Being unfamiliar with the area, our greatest challenge was locating the flat and the garage upon our arrival; however, this was not the fault of the owner. Fidel was always very helpful and answered in a timely manner. If you're on the search for a comfortable flat for five people in a safe neighborhood and with a reliable owner, this is the perfect fit!

We loved this location as it was an easy walk to many attractions or if you prefer the Metro is a quick 3 blocks away. Our host Angel, met us at a later check in due to flight delay and was very friendly and easy to work with. If you want to be near the action but not too close, this is an excellent option.

Lovely, comfortable apartment in amazing Barcelona

This is a beautiful place, plenty of space for us, with a great kitchen, plenty of light, and quite safe. We loved sitting on the terrace in the evening. Easy walk to groceries and metro stops. Our host was very responsive and friendly.

Very lovely apartment in a great location Owners we’re excellent to deal with.

VRBO had made typing error on the address and we were unable to find by VRBO address. I was able to reach owner immediately after the frustration with the address and every thing went smoothly from then in. We stayed over a week it was very clean had laundry facilities that were great and it was close to groceries, restaurants, pastry shops and of course taxi service. The terrace upstairs was a treat and I love the owners succulent plants

Fantastic area to stay in!

Nice little apartment in a great part of town! Plus a great supermarket just 2 blocks away. Very convenient to Metro & Buses. The apartment appeared clean & tidy, but the wood floors needed a good mopping. (Which I found annoying, knowing that every tenant is charged a cleaning fee). The furniture was adequate ( used Ikea quality). Although the Bunk bed needs a new mattress! A/C was barely able to keep up, as the sun beats in all morning. A wonderful working kitchen and good size Frig. ( Could use dish towels and a few utensils like a big spatula & a whisk.) The bathroom is nicely designed. The shower head needs some Teflon tape & the slide bar needs fixing as the head will slide down while showering. Be careful when washing dishes or showering as the water can get extremely hot all by itself.
