It was very cozy. The cabin was clean and quiet. Very much needed recharge. The walk to the river can be a little slippery so make sure you are wearing appropriate footing. The hottub was nice an warm and very romantic.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Complete peace and quiet, just what we were looking for. River was great and easy to access took the kids fly fishing every morning.
This place is truly specialânestled in the woods with an amazing view of the river. The large deck and hot tub are perfect for relaxing, and the setting is peaceful and private. Everything was clean, quiet, and well-stocked with everything you need for a perfect getaway. The host checked in after our first night to make sure we had everything we needed and was always quick to respond to any questions. The bed was incredibly comfortable too.Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we canât wait to come back. Highly recommend!
My partner and I stayed here for my birthday, and it was exactly what I needed. Mountains right outside, a beautiful river flowing, and the warmth of an indoor fireplace. I highly recommend this spot and I would definitely book again!
It was such a lovely time! The cabin was cozy and welcoming. Everything was stocked and there for our usage. The view? Amazing! The hittin? Super wa and clean! Beds were comfy, felt safe, gorgeous weather, such a lovely time with my bestie. Loved it so much coming back and booked again!
We had a great stay in this cozy cabin on the river. The home was toasty warm for our late arrival in a snowy February. We enjoyed the comfortable family room with a fireplace. The hot tub was hot and a perfect remedy after a ski day at nearby Steven's Pass. We are excited to return in the summer to enjoy the river just off the spacious back deck.
The cabin worked out well for my wife and I.
Very, very quiet and peaceful. Iâm not one to just sit around. This may be the first time Iâve ever just spent the day lounging. The back patio was perfect for this. Beautiful view of the river and the sounds of water.
The rear patio is enclosed and looks like you could just relax with your dog safely contained, but under the bench seats is wide open and our dog immediately was out. Once we realized this we just kept an eye on her. Would be great if something was done to secure the patio better.
That being said. The place was warm and inviting. The vaulted ceiling made the cabin feel very spacious.
Would come back again.
Amazing views and a great location, but there are issues
The rental has great landscaping with amazing river/mountain views. The patio/fireplace/hot tub are excellent. However, there are several issues:
1. Shower sliding doors got stuck & one came out of its track.
2. The top bracket holding the shower head is coming out of the wall.
3. The kitchen sink spray nozzle leaks when water is on.
4. The outdoor grill & fireplace were not cleaned, so we cleaned them.
5. The freezer ice maker can't be turned off & constantly makes ice.
6. The overhead light in the downstairs bedroom is very dim.
7. Not all hot tub buttons/functions work properly; it needs a new control panel.
8. The downstairs bedroom wall heater is broken, requiring space heaters from the closet which must be watched to prevent overheating.
The above issues can be fixed easily by maintenance & did not impact our stay. However, the following problems are more difficult to address & did affect our stay:
1. The toilet is separate from the bathroom & includes a sink. The room is so small & sink so large itâs difficult to use the toilet. Elderly/heavy-set people will find it extremely hard to use. A smaller sink would help.
2. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are incredibly steep & lack a dedicated light for safe nighttime use of the downstairs bathroom; and the railing is not very sturdy.
3. The neighbors to the east have an aggressive dog that trespasses onto the property.
4. The entire east half of the house is settling, causing several doors to not open or close properly.
lounging on the comfy couch while watching the river flow and the clouds crossing the mountain was relaxing. the river was running high due to snow melt, so no fishing. we loved crossing the historic one-lane wooden suspension bridge as we set out on our adventures each day.
detailsâŠ
great water pressure, hot water, ice maker, washing machine, gas stove and fireplace. good dishes, non-stick pots, baking pans, colander, basic spices and allergy-friendly soaps. upstairs bed was very comfortable, but downstairs mattress needs to be replaced. lots of good storage space and closets to hang clothes. odd bathroom configuration made the toilet area a little tight. internet was spotty and needed to be reset using the QR code on the fridge. management was easy to reach via text message, and was responsive to a housecleaning issue.
