The staff was friendly. Some updates would be nice. The bathroom fan runs loudly anytime the light is on. The 3 bath towels are thin and small, with only one hand towel and washcloth for 2 people for 2 nights. The tv channels are limited and rather dated. Breakfast is lacking compared to other similarly priced hotels. We didn’t use the pool or golf course, so can’t comment on those.

Front desk attendant seemed annoyed that we checked in. The room was filled with house flies dead and alive. The pool had so many house flies floating in the water. The pool equipment had some rust and some broken pets of the stairs to the slide. Overall, I would NOT recommend.

We loved everything about this property, until my son and I spent 2+ hrs in the water park. I wound up with rashes on my skin, extremely irritated, and burning sensation in the eyes, and my son had a severe allergic reaction to the chlorine, and chlorine burns under his eyes. It was so bad, we had considered the possibility of an ER run had eye flushing, and Benadryl not worked. My son is on a swim team too, so we’ve never experienced this before. I think they maybe using a harsh amount of chlorine or chemicals to compensate for children tinkling in the pool. It really put a damper in our weekend. That is my only complaint. Otherwise we absolutely loved everything else about Deer Valley! Great continental breakfast, awesome food options at the bar too!
