Perfect house & location to stay in Bath for a big group. We've had the best possible stay (and beautiful weather!).
Few little & quickly solved issues:
- 11th bed not ready (forgotten) - solved with housekeeper
- no electricity in plugs in 2nd & 3rd floors - solved during stay
- DVD player KO - to replace
- communiaction with Curated Properties within Abritel application sometimes truncated (text replaced by - signs)
- difficult to join the Housekeeper at first as it was not mentioned to use Whatsapp - solved before arrival
Thank you very much!
Where to start? We loved every moment of our stay in this beautiful home. Coming from overseas (and without sleep for about 26 hrs before arriving at the house) everything was made as simple and straightforward as possible. Every question and email was answered both promptly and thoughtfully. We loved the home from first glance, but it endeared itself to us even more over the course of our stay. The location is PERFECT - both quiet and in the middle of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed Bath, the Roman Baths and walking the 6-mile skyline trails (which was honestly such a highlight for us - the views and woods are AMAZING!) We visited many pubs and restaurants (the Crystal Palace was a favourite for my husband.) Thank you so much for such a lovely stay! We would recommend this home to everyone!
Apartment is in a great location!! Unfortunately, the property management didnât realize that there was a heatwave in the forecast and when we got to our apartment they hadnât closed the drapes and the unit was an oven when we entered. They eventually purchased fans for the bedrooms. Many of the windows did not open.. Beds were comfy , but sofa needs to be replaced, very old..
Perfect location, beautiful house. Just one niggle in that the DVD player wasnât working and someone had prepared a special DVD to be played for a milestone birthday on the basis one was in the house.
This was a fantastic historic home near the center of Bath. It was clean and comfortable. Although it didn't have it's own parking, a public lot was a quick and easy walk away. We would gladly stay here again!
While we enjoyed our stay...Check-in needs work - information on how to use appliances, heating, showers etc was non existent as was trying to reach anyone for assistance. Shower was either ice cold or scalding hot. Positive note great location.
Property is right in the heart of Bath, steps from the Abby, Roman baths, restaurants, shopping. We did quite a bit of cooking and there is a market not more than 5 min walk away. The house is spacious on multiple levels. Interior is older but consider that to be âcharacter/charmâ. Property owner was good to work with/responsive. End of the day, key standout was where the property is situated. Location could not be beat.
The house is located right in the heart of Bath. It is very spacious and full of little touches that make the stay seem personal. There are games in the living room, lots of lovely dishes in the kitchen and comfortable bedrooms and baths. We were a group of two adults and two children (11 and 12) but the house could have hosted perhaps 10 people. If we return to Bath, we love to stay here again.
This property is a very old house built in 1744 and retains all of that character. Spread over five floors there room for everyone in our party of seven. We wanted somewhere in central Bath so my kids could walk everywhere and spend their time learning about where their dad comes from. We were conveniently located to where we could visit with my remaining family and friends in some surrounding villages. For anyone spending a few days in Bath and want to experience its history and charm without driving anywhere, this is the place for you. A fantastic time was had by all.
We had a lovely stay in this property. It is spacious and yet has a very warm, family feel about it. It has been updated to keep the charm of the early property well.
