The room was very clean and cozy. Plenty of room for two couples. Great communication with the property owners and very clear instructions for parking and accessing the facility. I will definitely be coming back.
I loved my stay here and will return when I visit family. It is so close to everything I need - Starbucks, gym, food, etc. The apartment is the perfect size and very comfortable with two beds and a bath, kitchen, and a desk so I can work. I slept like a baby here! The pool was a wonderful retreat at the end of the day and mostly a quiet area. The owners are lovely to work with.
Apartment was super cute. Apartment had all we needed. We really wanted to use the pool but no way it was clean or was it cleaned while we were thereâŠthat was such a bummer for us! The property itself has so much potential. I wasnât sure of the neighborhoodâŠnice apart in front and to the left of us and immediately to the right not so nice. Also a train 2 out of 4 mornings train right behind came thru blowing its whistle at 530 am. If we ever came back to Baton Rouge I am not sure we would considering staying again.
Overall this was a good find. Online listing was mostly as advertised, however some forewarning about the freight train would have been nice. It rolled through somewhere nearby blasting its horn each morning which made for an unexpected alarm we could have done without. The apartment complex also has a pool that was included in the listing, but was not in useable condition for our stay in late March. Other than those things, the neighborhood was decent, the parking was easy - if the lot was full, it was easy to find street parking. The unit was cleaned and had all the amenities we needed. Within walking distance of LSU campus (we went to visit Mike the tiger). All of this for a lower price than most other area listings or hotels. Would recommend.
The apartment itself was clean and met our needs. The kitchen had basic supplies, each room had a ceiling fan, and the beds were comfortable. The location is close to the LSU stadium. Parking was easy and close. One of the doors that was supposed to lock to get into the complex was broken, so anyone could have entered. Additionally, the pool was unusable. It was green and had algae along the bottom (see pictures). The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this location and we were highly disappointed when we could not use it. The owners were aware of this issue, did not make us aware, and offered no way to mitigate the issue. The property itself appeared outdated. I would not stay here again.
Canât ask for much better location if there for LSU. A residence hall is right next door. Cross the street and you are on campus by the athletic facilities. Apartment was a nice 2 bedroom. Reminded me of my first out of college. Gave my teenager space he wanted. Did not use kitchen except the fridge. But looked well equipped. Showed up and it was clean. Beds were comfortable. Only issue and not the host can control but there is a train right behind the complex. You can hear it all hours. Only woke me up once in our 3 night stay. My teen said he could feel it during the day. But I could not.
