It was a great stay! The house was nice shape. It was a comfortable stay for 2 couples (4 adults). It was great to have a kitchen to make breakfast in and a small backyard for the dog. My dog and I also enjoyed walking the streets in the neighborhood in the mornings. It was a very safe and clean neighborhood to walk in! We stayed there for bowling (in the Cane's River Center), and the house was close to the center, downtown, and everything else fun in Baton Rouge!
Beds gave us a good night sleep. The neighborhood was quite as of no one else lived near. The property was very clean and as for the communication it was excellent. I would stay here again as long as the small issues we had were all fixed. The issues were the fridge was leaking water inside so the bottom of the fridge had water in it under the drawers. The sinks were slow draining and the upstairs sink at one point began pushing up gunk up thru the drains. Talk to the management and they were responsive right away to resolve the issue.
I would give 4 1/2 stars! We called cause refrigerator was leaking and they came right out to fix it! We had trouble with one tv not working but we werenât in there long to worry about it! Very clean, easy access to the garage and room! Would stay again! It is a great location for the convention center.
It was a very wonderful place to stay. Short distance from the Cane center where my husband bowled. Will definitely keep this place in mind for our next visit!
We had a wonderful stay hereâthe thought that was put into the decor and the details made it extra special. Hosts were amazing, and check-in was a breeze. Primary suite downstairs had the most comfortable bed ever and an enormous closet (complete with fancy hangers and luggage rack, like youâd find at a luxury hotel.) The bedding upstairs was plush and impressive as well (not just a quilt thrown on a matress like you see at a lot of these places.) Some of the provided amenities that really came in handy for us as we were there for a wedding with two young children were the washer/dryer, baby crib, high chair, hair dryer, and iron. These hosts thought of everything, and I would not hesitate to book with them again :)
The house was wonderful. The only thing that was lacking was the kitchen has no baking or pizza pans. We had to buy pods for the dishwasher and laundry detergent for the washer and dryer.
I stayed here and the property is in a good location but I was double charged the amount for the security deposit and have yet to receive any of my deposit back. There were holes in the garage and pre-existing damage to the property when we checked in but do yourself a favor and avoid subjecting yourself to these kind of unsavory business practices, there are nicer places in the area that you can rent without having to worry about these kinds of issuesâŠ
We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and comfortable. Close to the stadium. Communication was great at all times. Will definitely rent here again.
The house was very nice and clean and close to our destinations. I greatly appreciate everyone working with me and my situation. We would definitely stay again.
Our recent stay at the MidCity Designer Retreat was absolutely delightful! As a mother, my top priority is always the comfort and safety of my family, and this townhome exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect - nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, yet so conveniently close to a library where my son attended a competition event. We were able to access the venue with such ease!
The townhome itself is a gem. The convenience of our stay made us feel right at home. Thanks to the private garage and easy access, security was never a concern.
Overall, our experience was fantastic. It's a great spot for families, especially those attending events in the area. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a comfortable and convenient stay. Highly recommend!
We had a great stay at this property during family weekend at LSU. It wasn't too far from campus and gave us a great place to lay our heads after spending the days on campus with our daughter. The house was clean and the hosts were great!
The townhome was in a great location. The check in process was seamless. We had a minor problem with the tv and contacted the property manager, Kelsey, and she replied to our question immediately and helped us remedy the problem.
Beautiful and clean property in a safe area. Itâs close to shopping and restaurants. We came to town to visit my daughter at LSU. Itâs a 10-15 min drive to campus but we were not there to do anything on campus. It was great to be in a nicer part of town.
Good location, cool decor, good communication with owner, and plenty of good places to eat and have drinks at.
A few things need some attention:
âąWi-Fi is poor. Had to reset modem numerous times.
âąAC intake at the front is really dirty, causing some dust bunnies in house.
âąCourtyard hasnât been mowed in a long time.
âąRugs in home need replacing or a hardy cleaning.
Loved staying here! The neighborhood is nice and quiet, top notch restaurants are just around the corner, feels like home away from home. We stayed here with our 4 month old, and were so much more comfortable than staying at the hotel. There was even a high chair and playpen for him to sleep in. We had access to a garage to park our car overnight, and there is the cutest court yard to hang out after a long day running around. Could not recommend enough!
