Room was great and the stay went ok. But around 3:30AM the police knocked on the door and my wife and I went to the front desk. Some guy had kicked our headlight and tailgate and cracked them both. The great thing was that the night clerk was watching and called the police. He knew who it was and we pressed charges. This is crazy

We arrived after the LSU football game to learn they oversold for the night even though we had booked far in advance. We were thankfully given a room but my husband and I and our teen daughter had to share one bed. When we asked why the happened we were basically told it was because we booked through Expedia. We requested to speak with a manager the woman working was quite rude. We were told we would be called on Monday. So far...a week later... no call. In addition, the area felt quite unsafe. There is a house next door that has people loitering outside at all hours of the day and night. They spill over onto the hotel property. When we arrived after the LSU game (after 1:00 a.m.), they were walking around the parking lot with ski masks. (In Louisiana in early October when it is 80+ degrees out). I understand they have a right to be on their property but nothing is done by the hotel to keep them off hotel property.

When we arrived, there were several loiters around. They did not bother us, but it was unnerving. Inside the room the bed did not look freshly made, there was no toilet paper on the roll, no wash clothes or hand towels and the door did not lock. The a/c was off so the room smelled musky. It was "okay" but definitely not the cleanest.
