We were going to arrive long after the normal check-in time. Called ahead to make them aware & the staff was more than accommodating, sending us an email of the gate code and a location of where to find the key. The facility is fairly new, so everything is in great condition. There is a pool and lazy river but it was too cold to enjoy during our visit, but we're intending to go back this summer. Office staff on premises were friendly and polite, with plenty of knowledge on dining & nightlife. There's even a small convenience store in the office area that has plenty of " I forgot to pack" essentials. Overall, wonderful experience!!!
The cottages seem like they are practically brand new. Fully equipped with everything you might need for an overnight or multi-day stay. Spacious inside and a nice seating are on a deck outside, delightful when the weather is cooperative. Stayed there for the Super Bowl weekend as a very pleasant and affordable alternative to staying in NOLA. Proximity to LâAuberge casino/hotel (across the street) is a big plus.
We stayed at Tigers Trails in one of the on-site cabins for a local baseball tournament. It was great! Comfortable, clean, convenient, and loaded with things to do although we didnât have time to take advantage of it all. If we come back to Baton Rouge this will be our choice to stay. Employees polite, courteous, and friendly. Only drawback was my wife was working during our stay and the internet was in and out/not very reliable. She managed and will not let that impact out 5 star review.
