Anne was amazing to work with - so flexible and responsive. The cabin was just like the pictures and description only better. Very clean and comfortable. Loved all the little venues and used them all including the screened in porch, the deck, the great Adirondack chairs on the sand, the fire pit and the lake. What a great relaxing getaway. Just what we needed. Had what we needed to prepare meals as well as enjoyed a couple of restaurants in town. Glendalough State Park was great as well. Walked there and rented e-bikes. Great location. Peaceful lake. Looking forward to our return visit. Thanks Anne!

We've stayed here multiple years and it's perfect. No elevation. Two docks.Perfect for a 2-4 people who are willing to share a bathroom. Close to Battle Lake and Glendalough State Park. Hosts are responsive and accomodating.

Wonderful wedding anniversary weekend! My husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary here and had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Although we had some rainy cool weather, we managed to catch tons of fish right from the dock. I highly encourage people to check this place out. We look forward to our stay again next summer!

We love this place

We've rented this place a few years in a row for the 'week at the lake' with our family. We love the property: clean, functional, easy access to a beautiful, clear lake. Quiet neighbors. Close to Glendalough State Park and Battle Lake attractions. You will love this property. Owners are helpful and responsive!

Fantastic Lake Front Home

What a fantastic stay from the moment we opened the door until we left Friday morning. Everything was exactly as listed and pictured plus more. We've stayed at quite a few VRBO'S and this one stands out as the best. Everything was so clean and well supplied for an enjoyable stay. Anne was quick to respond to any questions I had. The neighbors were so kind and polite as well as knowledgeable about the area. Since we stayed during the weekdays, the lake was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the dock that had stairs for easy access to the lake. Screened in porch was perfect for reading and playing games. Kitchen was well stocked, they even provided charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill. I would highly recommend staying at this property. If we didn't live 12 hours away, I would be back next week.

It was perfect!

My husband and 2 children stayed for 5 days. It was perfect. The sand beach was great for them to play in and the water was clear and fun to catch minnows. We tied our boat right to the dock but did a lot of dock fishing. The screened in porch was awesome and we played cards on the windy cold day. Tj cabin was clean and had all the things we needed. We enjoyed our stay and I would go back for another long weekend. The neighbors were friendly too! The only thing was the code lock didn’t work for us a lot of the time, but they said they were going to do something different. Thank you for a great time and stay, we enjoyed every bit of it!

Fishing and Foolishness

We picked four beautiful fall days to stay in this very nice, clean cabin. The fishing was excellent for panfish. The lake was very clear and clean. We enjoyed a pizza at Zorbas on Ottertail lake, visited some shops in Perham and enjoyed a visit with old friends on Pelican Lake. Glendalough State park features bike and hiking trails, which we enjoyed. The lake access on Silver Lake is walking distance from the cabin. Larry and Gloria

Wonderful!!!

We loved the cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. Perfect size for the two of us with one extra bedroom unused. The owners, Dave and Anne, were wonderful answering all our questions very fast. We brought our boat and were able to tie it to the dock. The public access is very close. The lake is extremely clear and we had some luck fishing - of course the big one got away. The location is close to nearby towns. We ate at some very good restaurants in Battle Lake. Zorbaz on Battle Lake is a 2 time must. The beach area is nice, sandy and private - neighbors were not around much but friendly. I would highly recommend this cabin and we hope to be back next year.

Week at the Lake

We've rented this property for two years in a row and it's perfect for a couple or family. Wonderful beach and two clean, sturdy docks + the deck + the SCREENED PORCH means you have flexibility throughout the day to enjoy different parts of the property. Lake is clear and depth is perfect for swimming. Communication with property managers was seamless. Close to Zorbaz pizza and Glendalough State Park and Battle Lake and golf. I'll stop. Cozy Cabin

Clean cabin and great location. The screen porch was awesome! Hard sandy bottom made it great for swimming. Parking is limited, so not ideal for families with multiple vehicles or trucks with boat trailers, but we made it work. Enjoyed our stay overall and wouldnt hesitate to stay again in the future!

Wonderful fall get away!

We could not have asked for a cozier, cleaner cabin with close proximity to Inspiration Peak and Glendalough State Park to hike and see the fall colors. Perfect Family Vacation Getaway!!

The Weinrich's cabin was the perfect vacation getaway for our family of four!! The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and the communication with Anne and Dave was very smooth! We had such a great time swimming and fishing off the dock!! The icing on the cake was the amazing screened in porch, we especially enjoyed time spent in it in the evening to get away from the Minnesota mosquitoes! We will definitely be back again!!

Amazing!

This cabin was perfect for our family of five. It was updated and very clean! We spent a lot of time in the porch watching our kids fish off the dock. The furniture in the porch was new and very comfortable. The lake is nice and quiet. A boat launch is just down the road (walking distance). Comfortable beds inside the cabin! I can’t think of anything that could have made our stay better!
