Spacious beach cottage with open floor plan on Sargent Island, walk through the back yard and you are on the beach. The surf fishing is great. Fishing, shelling, bird watching, crabbing or just enjoy the surf. Come put your feet up on the beach front deck with your favorite beverage and watch the sunrise while enjoying an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico and Sargent Beach. We want to provide you a vacation home of your dreams, where you can relax and enjoy your getaway.

Island Beach Retreat offers 3 bedrooms 1queen/1double/1king (linens provided)also a sleeper sofa that can sleep 2.

However if cancelled within 30 days and property can be re-rented rent will be refunded in full. If only a portion of the dates can be rented stay will be pro-rated and returned to guest.

House was wonderfully located on beach, so nice to just sit on deck and watch the waves crash in. House was very well appointed everything we needed. We had a supermoon to watch come up a couple days. We collected a ton of Sea beans and shells we like to collect. neighborhood was so quiet and peace full.. Beach get away!

We loved Cheryl’s beach house and are definitely coming back!!! The sunsets are phenomenal and the weather was just right, this vacation was highly needed and helped us unwind and just tune in with the sea gods lol Loved every bit of her house!

The place has potential but it so so dirty and one of the beds smell like sour linen. The coach was full toenails/fingernails and pet hair. The coach is terrible and feels like you are sitting on wood. The bathroom needs work and the entire house needs a deep cleaning. I almost was not able to stay due to it being so dirty. If it was clean and had a clean couch it would have been a good stay. View was nice and the spot was peaceful.

We chose this house for its location & wanting to give our senior pets an ocean get-away! Booking & Check-in were a breeze! While unforeseen circumstance occurred and the AC stopped working the property managers were responsive and assisted with gwttinf a temporary fix going above & beyond to do what they could for us. We chose not to leave early since we only get away 1x a year and no one out of our group wanted to return home early. Our stay was in late July so it was warm outside the fish were not biting well off the beach or in the canal but the company was wonderful and the view was perfect! The hosts also went out of their way to provide us a meal at the local cafe which the food was perfect! We look forward to coming back next year

This house is essentially on the beach. The raised porch had a nice breeze and we spent a lot of time relaxing there. Would reccomended this property to anyone.

Good Place to Relax

My wife and I spent a week, along with our dogs, enjoying the ocean views and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. We hadn't been to the Texas gulf coast before and this was a good place for that first experience. Being only a few hundred feet from the shoreline, we enjoyed sitting on the porch with its ocean views in the mornings and evenings and exploring during the day.
